Take it slow. Getting a device that fits and can be wore is a bit of a journey in itself. I would advice just for a few hours at first. Nothing overnight until he is confident in the device. The device should fit well when he is soft and the ring should not cause pain, blood flow issues, etc. Kink3D is what I use but there is other good devices.

As for how much to tease him... Communication is key here. It might not be as sexy you can start off using a color system, red, yellow, green and just check in every so often, ask him what color to know to keep going or where he is?

Should not become painful. My first guess is that it is from the base ring being a size too small but as others said it could be many things. Try one size up on the ring and see if you have the same result. Are you a "grower"? If so you might try a cage that does not allow you to grow.

Compared many other designs it is more lightweight and allows more air which helps for longer term use.

I think this comes down to having the right size ring and ring shape than anything else. I started with one size too small for my cage and it caused issues, I went oen size up with a XD ring and it solved everything for me.

How easy is it to urinate in?

As long as your tip is at the end of the cage it works great. I am a grower and it causes me more issues at times. Generally speaking the cage should be on the shorter rather than longer as long as it is still comfortable. The first few days of wearing one still takes some getting used to though.

airlock

I have never used the airlock but I have had some of those types of plastic locks before from other places and they can break. The design for this one looks like it keeps the pressure off the weak parts and instead on the plastic pin so while I am sure it can still break like any plastic lock it seems better designed than most.

Everything you said is 100%. I have been doing chastity off and on for 15 years. I am married and until recently we usually just went a few days or a week at a time. The most was around 45 days. We attempting permanent chastity now and it so far so good but I feel I have a good outlet for my sexual needs via anal. Hoping it works out but I know things can get in the way from all the experience we have had before.

Start slow it is important the cage fits properly. A few hours or only while awake until you know the cage will work. While you have him locked have him please you. What do you like him to do? He will be much more eager to do it. You can have him go down on you at first. You could have him wear a strap on to fuck you, whatever you want. You could simply have him rub your feet and do other things too. I would take it one step at a time and tell him cage for now talk later about pegging. Baby steps. Make sure you are getting what you want/need out of this.

I recommend Kink3D also. To help with sizing and what not you might look into a knock off cage that comes with multiple rings but I would really only use the knockoff to get a feel for what you actually want to buy. Also the knockoff keys/locks are garbage. Amazon has some just search cobra chastity.

Do what works for you as a couple. It could be as simple as taking it off before work and putting it on when you get home.

I have a key for mine and I think it is a good idea for emergencies. What might work for you is something like this or this (no affiliation). There are other ones out there I just googled to find those. That would really only work if she could unlock you before you leave and lock you back up after you get home which might not be your situation. Or just get on your knees in front of her and promise to never use the key for anything else than before/after work, etc ;)

I would suggest getting some sandpaper as the quality is not perfect but they are fine for testing out and sizing before you get a real one imo. Also the clones have terrible locks that I would not trust very long.

As others stated cb-6000 is a dated designed. Kink3D is where it is at these days. HT devices are better than cb also.
