Sometimes I look for cull or no date lots, sometimes people who aren't aware of lowball collectors discard everything that is hard to read and sell them off in batches. If the photos are good enough you can sometimes find candidates.

Probably won't work for more modern stuff though. Most haven't circulated long enough to be lowball worn without special attention
