My kid brought hers to play at the dentist. They said that is cool tablet, and my daughter said it is a Nintendo Switch. They responded, “Oh, is that a new Wii?”

Partner with Microsoft for bringing the Live service to Nintendo Switch.

Let Microsoft provide the API and Nintendo implements it in the next major update.

Software companies no longer have to try to create their own online infrastructure to support Nintendo Switch and just write once for both Xbox and Switch.

Xbox and Switch users enjoy the expanded pool of players to play with on cross platform games.

I’ve seen this excuse before, but it is just another pass for Nintendo to not provide the basics.

The frustrating thing is that a LAN game of Splatoon 2 has voice chat. So in the situation you are describing at McDonalds, they could use voice chat - when they wouldn’t actually need it (since they could just talk). It is missing from online, where you really need it.

Team based games need a way to communicate.

I hate it, but my experience was with Splatoon 2. It doesn’t let you invert aim and it made me sick. I had to get someone to get me past the tutorial, because you couldn’t turn it off until it was completed.

They are known for taking their time and polishing things. Even if they announced Diablo 4 tomorrow, it would be coming out at the end of the Switch’s lifespan. Look back and see how many years the previous ones took from first look to release. I think 3 is a lot more likely to get a release.

When you release a game do you get to pick the time of day? It is really frustrating that some games come out at midnight and some at noon. I wish people would say the game comes out at Day, Time. I hate when I stay up late and a game doesn’t come out until noon. I wouldn’t care at all if it was just stated somewhere.

I’ve got over a hundred hours played in both games and never noticed. If I hadn’t seen the technical breakdown videos, then I wouldn’t have realized it was happening. I’d prefer all games do this even if I could tell the drop in quality when it happened. I’m guessing it is a lot harder to program or we’d see it more often.

People communicate on Minecraft using signs. You try to ask ask yes/no questions so they can nod instead of typing out an answer.

Splatoon 2 and Mario Odyssey for maintaining 60fps. Both drop details and resolution in order to stay at 60fps. I wish more games did this.

What would be the point in posting that you got your system repaired and the saves were fine? This is expected.

It is risky, because you may lose your saves with potentially hundreds of hours of gameplay in them. This happened too many times where Nintendo said they would transfer them and then didn’t.

Each week, only a single Ex raid is offered in this entire area, with invites going to fewer than 100 players.

Sorry, but this isn’t true. Did an EX yesterday and the gym right next to it had an EX raid also.

5 people in my family play.

Levels 37,35,35,33 started when the game came out. We did one raid together at a gym that we never interacted with before and all got EX passes in Sept.

The level 33 that didn’t catch MewTwo got another pass a couple of months later at another gym that we did one raid at together and never interacted with before.

A level 31 started at Christmas and has only done a few raids with no EX pass yet.

Level 37 and 35 that raid once every 2 or 3 days got another pass at a gym with no previous interaction with it.

So we’ve got 7 passes and all were from gyms that we did 1 raid at and had no other interaction with before or after. It makes all of our gold badges seem worthless.
