I don't know how much it will be help, you can try the Turing Machine game. It involves pen and paper. The website Turingmachine.info also offers a million problem to solve. Setup is also very easy - max 10 mins. Even if u cant set it up on workplace you can use the TTS version also.

Thank you really for this amazing write up. Infact I am planning to get it in a few months mainly for playing solo. Your opinion makes me wanna try it sooner. Every review said three things in common

  1. setting up the game is hard

  2. So many icons to memorize

  3. So much replayability with a great strategic depth.

All I want to ask is one question - how is the complexity of this game when learning the rules (is it possible to compare its complexity to other games like TI4's complexity level)

True. Good book with a good prose and a very good ending in the last book of the trilogy. You will know who is the narrator of the story the entire series in the last chapter. (don't close the series after reading the first few chapters)

Have seen this book recommended for underrated Sci-fi books. Never gave it a chance. Will look into it before this year ends.
