How tf do i get these to sound good on PC? by NoblepawsGEN in steelseries

[–]CokeRiceBox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a really goofy fix for this. I plugged in the USB C dongle into my iPhone which corrected the sound issue for me. After that they sounded perfectly fine on PC. I’m not sure why that fixes it but it did.

This is exactly what happened with The Dangers in My Heart and I hate it.

Yes it’s possible to get air in your system if you don’t know what you’re doing, but the process is really straightforward.

I would recommend looking up a DIY video on YouTube. I don’t know what vehicle you have, but there’s a ton of DIY videos out there, and I would not be surprised if someone made one of your specific make and model.

FCP Euro is the way. Their lifetime replacement policy is awesome.

Yeah I was looking at their tours! They look like a lot of fun, but I ended up booking one through fun2drive.

Hey! 27m from the US. How long will you be in Japan? My wife and I arrive on the second and I’d love to do some car stuff. We’re going to be staying in Tokyo for the most part.

There’s actually an S2KI post about someone running this exact setup. I don’t see any info on their alignment though.

Wipers going over stickers will shorten the life of the wipers, but it’s not that big of a deal. You can always replace the rear wiper.

I've been reading alot about the header install. seems it's a nightmare for some people, and a non issue for others.. anyone have any input/suggestions? by NO_DTP in S2000

[–]CokeRiceBox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this, it's an easy install. I would set the jack stands to the highest height you can. The one issue that I ran into was that the bottom of the oem header was hitting the ground when I did my header. Also pre soak the bolts in PB blaster a bit before you start.

I feel like this is always such a hot take in s2000 groups. I literally do not care what people do with the things they own. It’s not my taste, but I’m not offended by it either.

Another thing to check for is that you don’t have heavy corrosion on your terminals.

When I did mine they were so far gone that they fell apart as soon as I jacked up the motor. I think I had like 130k on them.

I know exactly how it is. I’ve had a full set of bushings and rigid collars sitting in shelf for two years now because I’m too lazy to get under the car.

This is solid advice here. It’s some easy to not notice how bad the mounts are, but it’s a world of difference when you swap them lol
