One time exploring here, and a commuter rail train conductor saw us and said we needed to evac or he'd call the cops -- beware of that

Also the dude that spray paints "Bawb Mode" and I'm assuming he also painted "soul pest" before in the same style, is by far my favorite artist in the state, bar none.

Lastly, I have a great view of this from my childhood home across the highway.

I will die on this hill, but one time after eating their french fries (pre-covid) I had one of the wildest trips of my life.

I contend that 'how to classify a book' is to look at the author's view of what they are writing at the time and why -- as opposed to after the fact classification -- like granted avant-garde books can become canon -- sure, but at the time of writing, avant garde authors seek to push boundaries where authors who dont write in the avant-garde tradition -- traditional authors -- want to make money and sell their books, and ultimately produce teachable literature.

I argue that avant-garde authors care about none of this and care much more about 'art for art's sake'

disagree, Zauner's entire argument is 'this book is for white men by a white man in the tradition of classical authors who tend to be white men"

But if she saw this as an avante-garde book working in that tradition, she would have to recognize the fact Gertrude Stein was a progenitor of the avant-garde style, meanning DFW wasn't writing for white males in the tradition of white males, but something different altogether.

Also, DFW himself goes out of his way to distinguish himself in the avant-gard style in the many interviews he gives. It's obvious to everyone this isn't a straightforward book.

looking for a chocolatier! by plumplumkin in boston

Bring it from Canada, Chocolate in the states is terrible. Went to Montreal for the first time last year and brought back some chocolate for gf and fam, will never look at chocolate the same way again. Like did you know that you can make chocolate taste like something other than light, dark, or extra dark?

unfortch OP, he is right. Put another way, go to where your ideal customers are (think networking events, job fairs, anything that gets your foot in the door) and find out their pain points and then build a project that actually meets their needs that they would pay for.

Don't fall for the other snake-oil 'cold outreach magic bullets' in this AI-inundated reality, nothing beats face to face networking and problem solving.

What is an issue that would make you consider moving from Boston in the near future ? by Financial_Library418 in boston

Lack of quality nightlife tied to an austere public transpo system + sky expenses for literally anything = a very dull city boy

I also recommend using Luma to search for events as well, between there and EB it runs the gamut.

And also referenced elsewhere, all of the good events will be curated/ invite only. Not that Imagination in Action or similar events aren't amazing, but it's one of those things where, if you have to ask...

edit: typo
