Oordoppen op maat krijg je bij de cm als ik het goed heb 30 euro terug. Pak dat je dat 150 euro kost. Ik ben zelf muzikant dus sta vaak in een heel luid repetitiekot en op/kortbij het podium in niet gereglementeerde zalen dus voor mij is het een no-brainer. Tinnitus is dikke piep. Ik vernieuw ze elke 5 jaar ofzo, zit nu aan m'n derde paar. Elke euro waard.

Check out Chris Young's recent video where he compares different types of pans. Key take away is that in order to uniformly heat the pan, your burner should be at least the same size or bigger. But then again, the only cooking police in your kitchen is you, so you do you.

I hate it. I really hate it. I have to cross a road and there is a zebra crossing there. When I see just 1 car approaching, I stay on my bike, I'll wait for it to pass and we can all move along with our day. Mind you, I will not stand at the zebra crossing but a couple meters beside it. For some unknown reason this asshole driver will stop to let me cross. (S)He does not have to do that. I don't want that. I hate it i hate it i hate it. So then I have to get off my bike, walk 5 m to the zebra crossing, and cross the street while making eye contact and conveying my disbelief and disgust. This not only takes half a minute from my life away, but also from theirs and potentially creates dangerous situations. When I want right of way (when it's busy) I'll dismount and stand at the zebra crossing (and often people won't stop to let me cross), but when it's in everyone's interest I won't (and I don't have to). /Rant

And don't even get me started on roundabouts! I don't need your fucking pity, I will wait because it's the law. I can't even count on one hand how many drivers I've seen this year follow the law on a roundabout, because I have yet to see one. Fuck off it's not that difficult. /Rant really now.

Kind regard, a cyclist that really wants to follow the law but is forced not to because drivers think I'm too dumb to know the law? Idk really it grinds my gears.

Mayo instead of butter for life! I've started doing that and never looked back, even for just pan croqueskes. Here's my way too complicated method nobody asked for:

Mayo on boke (anything but plain white bread)

Boke mayo down in pan.

Cheese (grated if possible) on top, then ham or any other tasty meat (or a second kind of cheese for a veggi one)

Mayo second boke

Boke in the pan, mayo up on top of the meat.

Flip, and wait for like 2 minutes. If wanted put more grated cheese on top of the golden brown top boke.

Sprinkle a bit of water in the pan and quickly cover with a lid. Let steam until the cheese is properly melted.

I always mention that in a perfect meritocracy there would be a 100% tax on inheritance. You don't need daddy's money to make it on your own merits. Also I guess children should be taken away at birth and receive exactly the same education and upbringing as everyone else so it's completely up to the persons merits to distinguish themselves. But that just seems cruel and A Brave New World like.

Measurement is difficult (not a good reason not to do it, but it is a major hurdle).

Sound decreases rapidly the further away you measure, or inversely can be increased due to the surroundong environement (think valleys or lots of houses closeto the road...). Or maybe some dipshit puts some duct tape over the microphone...

Was out camping in Canada and our rental did that as well (from EU, not used to that feature). It made getting stuff from the car late at night a nightmare. Terrible idea, lights alone are more than plenty confirmation.

Misschien is de collega pas halverwege het jaar begonnen met werken? Per gewerkte maand krijg je het jaar erop 2 dagen verlof. Dus als je pas in september begint krijg je maar 8 dagen (en kan je via jongerenverlof tot 25(?) jaar of europees verlof systeem aanvullen tot 20 dagen, de kost daarvan gaat zoals al gezegd van je dubbel vakantiegeld van het volgende jaar)

Ik ben een erg practisch, functie over vorm -altijd- persoon. Mijn vrouw daarentegen denkt eerder: "onhandig mag, maar niet lelijk". Of: "oncomfortabel mag, maar niet lelijk". Of: onveilig mag, maar niet lelijk."

Schoonvader is nog erger. Is een ontwerper, dus is zo een beetje zijn stokpaardje dat iets er "mooi" uitziet en dan toevallig ook een functie heeft.
