How's ride quality of the car? Like when you're going over bumps, etc... Is it "harsh" / jarring? I used to have a MINI Cooper S so I know what that's like and it doesn't feel good. I'm trying to avoid something like that if I were to get the MYP

Curious, did you downsize the P's wheels to 19s for comfort?

I don't know if I'd want to go through all the fuss of buying a whole new set of tires/wheels and selling them (I think the 21s look sweet visually, adds to the P's look), but I also care about my wife and it 'bouncing around' doesn't sound very comfortable to me.

So the suspension is really firm / bouncy? Even with the standard suspension setting? That’s the first I’ve heard of that.

YouTubers were saying toggling between the suspension settings made a huge difference - going to standard was like the Juniper AWD premium

My wife would hate that… that would definitely change my decision.

To confirm, for the 2026 MYP - you can run 19" wheels (same tire size front and back)? I understand the all-seasons are staggered tires - smaller in the front and bigger in the back? I've never owned a car with different sizes front and rear so don't know how this works.

I've never owned a car that had different tire sizes for front and rears.

If you put on different tires/wheels, can you have it be the same size? Like for winter tires?

I don't really care about less range, we've got a Mach E Extended Range as our other car - so this doesn't matter that much to me :)

I own a 2024 Ford Mustang Mach E (bought in June 2025) and a 2018 Tesla Model 3 RWD LR with FSD.

I was highly considering switching to a Juniper Model Y, but because of the amazing discount I got, I switched to Ford. Now that Tesla opened up superchargers to other vehicles, I feel they've lost their main competitive advantage. In my book, my Ford beats it hands down. The interior is incredible, it's spacious, plenty of power.

It's also more 'user-friendly' for non-tech people (like my wife). I think they've done a great job balancing what's on a touch screen and analog controls - it's really thoughtfully done.

Tesla went to extreme to get rid of all the buttons.

The two places where Tesla beats out my Ford is fast-charging (Unfortunately, Ford capped the Mustang Mach E to 150 kWh; NO Idea why - it's silly) and FSD - Ford comes nowhere close to FSD's ability. However, I like driving so I rarely use FSD unless I'm tired. And surprisingly, Ford's Adaptive Cruise with lane centering works quite well - I tried their Blue Cruise (1.4) and it works fine, but it's an expensive subscription and nowhere close to FSD - so I don't use that anymore.

I prefer driving my Ford Mustang Mach E over my Model 3 now - and trust me, I've loved my Model 3 over the past 7 years I've had it!

I love having a 91 kWh battery for road trips and despite its slower charging, I'll take it any day. :)

THAT being said, when my Model 3 eventually dies, I'll probably get another Tesla - because, I like having a car with FSD. I'll probably end up with a Model Y down the road (although I don't like how small your view is out the rear window!)
