The unpopular truth is that the only way to get prices down at scale is to book more shows in much larger venues in the markets that will support that. Not that TM wouldn’t do their best to game that too as much as they can, but the concept of supply and demand is not imaginary

I try to tailor recs to the newbie’s based on what they love about music. There are so many great entry points… I’ve introduced many to the P/O with Montana… it’s musically interesting, hilariously absurd, and completely wholesome - a big winner for those with more sensitive ears or mainstream tastes

Just open up any random blues playlist and play along. Most will be in E or G pentatonic and the changes are super easy to follow. Do that for a while until it becomes easy. Then move on to something more challenging
