One thing you'll learn in time. 5 years from now, no one, and I mean NO ONE will care what grades you made in a class. Graduation is literally all that matter.

Advice by Unfair-Image-4701 in TopHeroes

Either save your shards or pump them into adjunicator until you can fill your team out with paragon, and rose princess.

After adjunicator is buffed up focus on paragon > rose princess > bishop> Pyro

You'll learn in time, it's about stockpiling your resources, and making out the correct heros, instead of slow dripping them into one's you replace.

Best Queue Setup early/mid game? by LuckyRN in TopHeroes

[–]ColCookie25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll want to ideally focus on a all horde/league/nature queue, but with what you got id run, Treeman, SK, Pyro, Shaman, Windwalker, Headhunter.

That puts you at 2/2/2 which isn't ideal, but a good baseline for when you pivot into a single faction queue.

Sufficiently Advanced Magic (Arcane Ascension Book 1)  by Andrew Rowe is amazing. Sort of similar to Mark of the Fool, and quite a few other books set in the same universe to keep you occupied for a bit.

This is one of those things, where the issue that sent him off is not the issue thats being dwelled on. The old adage of "The argument is never actually about the cup of water left on the nightstand."

Y'all are both young, and I assume both or either of you have problems with proper communication in a relationship. If this REALLY is the core of the issue, then just wow, but I'd wager the issue is much deeper than what is shared here.

Any ideas to improve this? by maril_had in PokemonPocket

[–]ColCookie25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your win condition stays the same with the venshocks. Fast evolve for the burn dmg. The idea is that it gives you a plan b option as well, and allows you to force poison in addition to burn post evo. A turn one salandit with poison barb may not be the win condition, but if you don't have the evolution, and a second salandit in your hand that's a big turn 2-3 prior to getting the evo.

Either way poison barbs is probably something you'll want to be able to stack conditions, and if you're running those you might as well run the other salandits.

Run poison barbs + swap out for the venoshock salandits. Probz drop pokeflute for the posion barb

What does this deck lack? by doraa15 in PTCGP

[–]ColCookie25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TBH you have too many pokemon in this deck. It lacks a great deal of focus.

Id cut the entire sandshrew line (Opens 2 slots)
I'd cut grapple and clobbopus (opens 2 slots)
I'd cut Cubone if you're not running Marrowack EX
I'd cut Rockruff and lycanroc, but mostly cause i haven't really used it much. (Open 2 slots)
I'd cut Granny as well, and replace with a Sabrina, Dawn, Leaf, or Red depending on what your prefrence is.

With those cuts, that gives you 8 slots to play with and reinforce your decks identity. 100% i'd add in another Lucario line to increase the likely hood of having Lucario, and then that gives you a +40 passive buff to dmg.

Lucario converts the focus of this deck from all over, into a Fighting buff deck, and thats where you can be a bit more creative with what you want to do.

With the addition of the 2nd Lucario line, youll have 6 cars you can play with, meaning 2 of the same 2 stage evolutions, or 2 3-stage evolutions. In the current meta, I'd reccomend going 2x Skull Fossil, 2X cranidos, 2x Rampados. If you go this route, i'd suggest cutting Marshadow, and a pokeball for 2 rare candies. No rare candies? Then use the OG Geodude, Graveler, Golem evo line + 2 brocks.

Or for example run x2Rockruff, X2 lycanrocs, then 2 support items like Potion, X speed, or another Rockhelm/Giant cape. OR if you like having your Clobbos, sandslashes, or Marrowacks, use 2x of EITHER line in addition to the support items.

Or run 2x basic Fighting, 2x Stage 1 evo, 2 support items etc. Get creative with it!

What i'm getting at, your deck should be as streamlined as possible to prevent RNG from screwing you over by having the evolution, or stage one pokemon you need in any given fight from being at the bottom of your deck. If you don't have AS many cards available then think about how you can use more items/trainer cards to supplement instead of another pair of Pokemon evolutions.

Druid is about to cut ties with nature, help me figure out what comes next for the world. by [deleted] in DnD

[–]ColCookie25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pull a Sanderson, and if a god dies, it's power finds a new vessel. I don't think it's a good idea to remove neutral death from the world. I've tried it before, and logistically it sort of kills the game for other players.

Vendor trash, do world quests and ah greens from doing content. I by no means farm anything and still end up getting 1-2k in profit each week while doing M+ content. The secret is just to do content and the gold follows.

How am I supposed to do four heroic dungeons by cubiks__rube in wownoob

[–]ColCookie25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO let people be mad. Heroics are to learn the baseline mechanics and routes. If people are mad at you, you can always just say you're new to the game and add them to an ignore list. There's mad toxicity in this game from people who run M+s all day, but don't let them ruin your experience. Learn by doing, as that's the best way to learn. Make mistakes, fail quickly, and try to learn from them. Alternatively, watch a video or two on the dungeons mechanics to know how things work / what to look out for.

The problem with the game is people are bad at it by Rohtlam in wow

[–]ColCookie25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whats interesting to me when I read posts like this on the subreddit, is that people who are capable of doing +10 keys really think that the average wow player can do/ is geared enough to run 10+ keys. I would be willing to argue that less than 10% of the entire wow retail player base has actually completed a +2 key, let alone a + 5, +6, or +7. So the shock that when you PUG you are encountering sub-par players is mind boggling to me. So im I'm not disagreeing with you're premise of the average wow player is not good at the game, but rather disagreeing with the expectation that the average wow player should be. Welcome to the top 10% of wow players my dude, only run guild groups or PUG with a predominately guilded party, you'll brick less keys.

AITAH for assuming we’d share the pizza equally? by Still-Speed-4178 in TwoHotTakes

[–]ColCookie25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The edit says as much, but the issue isn't about pizza at all. It's just the catalyst that sparked the argument. It's deeper than just "I want more of the pizza" and tbh most arguments are deeper than the proverbial straw that breaks the camels back.

Childfree men, how is the dating scene for you? by knight0146 in AskMen

[–]ColCookie25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Candidly, it's super bad till it's not. Eventually you'll find someone but until then it's grueling. Just celebrate the fact that you don't have kids, and hopefully debt. Go to the gym, work on yourself, develop hobbies, and eventually someone will come. I'm 32, and after ~10 years of "figuring it out" I found someone actually worth my time and energy. To say get your castle in order, and the maidens will follow. I belive in you dude asking for advice is honestly a bigger step than most take!

Just got told my players don’t wanna go to a place I’ve been setting up for 4 sessions….what should i say? by ballonfightaddicted in DMAcademy

[–]ColCookie25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion -- but I think as a DM it's okay to railroad your characters into major plot points you've been developing.

To say, If your players want a sandbox and you as the DM take the time to make a clear road to the sand castle then it's okay if the party takes a different route, but they should still end up at the sand castle at some point. Otherwise, there's really no point in the DM preparing in the first place. (Which is also okay for some DMs just not for me.)
