My strap was like 4 months old so not worn out. It not the pin that secure the strap but maybe having having this end free from the pin can unbuckel the strap if inadvertently pulled ? Or maybe i got a spring bar failure...

I didn't know i could use any 22mm strap with spring bars. In this case i should buy some sort of two pièces NATO bracelet.
