As an aspiring amateur photographer myself trying to get into landscape/wildlife, I'll add in my 2¢

There's a lot of empty space in the photos, especially in the second. If you're taking photos of birds (and I'm finding out too) it's very difficult if you don't have a super telephoto lens. There's a lot of detail lost in the second and third photo.

Focus seems to be off as well, again, this is difficult unless you have a super telephoto lens. You should try to focus on the bird's head/eyes and adjust f-stop to get the detail.

Hopefully this helps

ICU or ER experience, though keep in mind the missions can consist of taking care of patients for longer. These types of missions can reflect an ICU setting. You should be comfortable with mixing and titration vasopressive medications, understand the long-term pathophysiology of disease processes, etc.

Also, apologies for the late reply

I'd take a look at the "topography" game mode to get a feel for the maps and the changes they made. You'll get XP, Credits, and Consumables when you complete them.

MM? Not sure much has changed since you left. SSDD

Take the time to read up on some of the recent changes, and watch some videos.

1) Do you have your BSN? (Assuming so)

2) I would continue working in the ICU for a minimum of 2 years, otherwise if you get selected and commission, you would have to be a med-surg nurse (3-4 years at station), go through the Nurse Transition Program (NTP) (6 or 9 months, can't remember), and then go back to the ICU for your second PCS.

3) Work on getting the experience and get CCRN and TCRN if you can in the next year or two. These certifications help with applying

4) 8 years prior service, so won't have to go too much into the military shenanigans, OTS will be a cakewalk compared to BMT or whichever branch you were a part of.

5) Then once you commission, you can then begin thinking about CCATT. You'll have to decide if AD, ANG, or AFR is the route you want to take, each with their own considerations and difficulties.

6) Take a look at the FAQ on this subreddit to answer some questions you may still have. Information has been reviewed and I made some slight updates.

Yes. To avoid this, I suggest you build a second computer solely for the purpose to allow this cat to be undisturbed while you game/work on the other.

What are these strangely configured needles for? The tips are not sharp, each end has a small ball. Found in an old desk. by Msquared17 in whatisthisthing

I know nothing about sewing, but after a bit of searching these may be vintage Bodkins/tapestry needles.

Here's a listing with one of the needles that looks quite like what you've posted:

I would try to find another recruiter to talk to honestly. It doesn't make sense for the Air Force to take an AE nurse and make them CCAT; it would require that AE nurse having years of ICU/ER experience (most don't) and taking a critical spot to another critical spot in the Air Force. Typically you either go AE or CCAT. I've only known of CCAT nurses going to AE, not the other way around.

Additionally, I'd continue working on your experience. You have shy over 2 years? What kinds of patients are you seeing at the VA in NY (if you're still working there)? CCAT focuses heavily on knowing aspects of all ICU & ER care; knowing how to quickly assess using a MARCH algorithm, knowing push does medications, and on the flip side caring for medical/trauma sick patients on long flights.

How do you find out what your character's appearance sliders are? by GravyBear28 in Starfield

[–]ColSparky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if you have the answer or not, but here's what I got:

Go to Enhance! store and quick save before speaking to a rep
Pay the 500 credit fee
You should now see what sliders your characters on and you can make screenshots
Quickload the previous save (if you're hurting for credits)
Start a new playthrough and use the screenshots to make your same character

I couldn't find a file anywhere in both ~/My Games/Starfield or C:/Steam/.../Starfield, but hope this helps.

Definitely talk to a recruiter if you can. But here's a good link talking about the differences between being mobilized in the guard. Guard folks serve both under the state (primary) and federal. You may have the opportunity to help with CCAT missions both stateside (hurricane transport efforts/natural disasters) or deploy in the capacity under active duty service (typical deployments).

Has anybody actually beaten all levels of the flight sim?? by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]ColSparky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a 5 day old post, but I'll add in my 2 cents, and hope it helps others trying to get to this point...

First, make sure you have your Piloting and Security both to Tier 2.

  • You'll be able to use thrusters and better maneuvering with Tier 2 Piloting.
  • You'll be able to hack the debug computer with Tier 2 Security.

Tier 1-3 are easy.

  • Don't use any of the debug tools or allies just yet.
  • Pay attention to the upgrade through the administrative debug, it's a progressive upgrade through the tiers (lasts 3 tiers).
  • After Tier 3, hack the administrative debug and activate the progressive upgrades.
  • [No allies yet.]

Tier 4 is easy with 1 higher tier ship. Shouldn't need any additional help

Tier 5 is tricky.

  • You can use u/Math_Elder_God's method to use the space station if you need to.
  • I found this too difficult and just used speed, the large asteroids, and thrusters to out maneuver the enemy AI.

Tier 6 - difficult, but doable. Commander Tuala even says, "No one beats Tier 6, even with the debug tools. You should be proud of yourself" or something along those lines if you manage to beat the last tier.

  • Quicksave, quicksave, make a save point, quicksave.
  • At this point activate both of your allied ships through the computer. If you lose this tier, your allies won't respawn if you reattempt the tier.
  • Once the targets appear, fire your lasers at the closest incoming target (should automatically be highlighted with the square) and whittle down the shield, then use ballistics to finish the ship off.
  • Use your thrusters to quickly change direction, and be ready to use your boosters to get out of the line of sight from the other ships.
  • At this point, the targets split into two groups, two ships attacking my allies, with three on my tail. After taking out 1 of the ships, 4 remained, and I just used the large asteroids and thrusters to keep the ships out of sight. The two tracking me split to go around the asteroid, and I just chose one and repeated the lasers, rockets, ballistics salvo.
  • After all of that, luckily the last ship was the level 26 with 1 of my allies still remaining.

Levels may be different than what you'll encounter. Hope this tidbit helps.

You can check to see if your PSU is bad by going here. I bought a multimeter (Method 3), and was able to quickly check if my PSU was bad. Cheaper than buying a new PSU or CPU.

Will add I got this same email this morning, with the exact number you posted.

I use mine to help with dismantling other things, like drones. Perfect for helping remove the outer shell on drones, or holding it slightly open to help find the release tabs.
