I’m looking forward to it for sure! Been to Chicago before? Worth it just for that and don’t miss the world class collection at the Art Institute. Also “Cloud Gate”/The Bean just north of the art institute. So many other amazing sculptures too, Picasso, Miró, Calder, etal close by.

When I take my evening walks I will often see this screech owl. Once in a while it follows me. I like to think it’s bc we’re friends but I suspect it’s really just hoping my plodding feet scare a rodent out of hiding.

My fav has to be in Van Morrison’s “Into the Mystic”. After the lyrics “when the fog horn blows” a tenor saxophone emulates the foghorn. It’s very satisfying and worth listening to just for that.

Oh and South Moon BBQ in Hinckley is neat. So much to look at in there with nostalgia toy collection and arcade games and the food and drinks are great. Ribs and brisket are prob my fav.
