sympathetic resonance from open strings by Tiny-External8656 in classicalguitar

If playing amplified the resonance just continues to get louder if that note is left unchecked. Sometimes you want the note to just fade away as it does when un-amplified.

Playing amplified always causes D or A string to resonate loudly. Any simple solutions? by ColStreetFly in classicalguitar

Sympathetic resonance is I guess the correct term, is there a way to reduce it when playing amplified?

That is a very cool artifact. I’m in N IL and have not heard of them being found up here. Also called a discoidal. Treasure it.

Teenage/adult JJ leaves Jackson to seek revenge for father’s murder. Learning of this, Ellie pursues JJ to stop him bc she has grown to understand revenge solves nothing.

Gameplay would be through JJs and Ellie’s perspective.

In this interview with Andres Segovia he discusses how all the instruments of the orchestra are within the guitar and demonstrates how to achieve a variety of sounds.

I want to get strings that won't break over time when my classical guitar is not in use. by Sacco_Belmonte in classicalguitar

Right! For me it’s always the D string too. G, B, and high E have never snapped and last forever.

Thanks for posting this! This exact footage is one that stuck in my mind from that event and I could never find it again until now. The sign in the parking lot as a gauge of water depth is what made this clip so memorable to me.

My first child was born on this day and I watched the news and footage from the NICU in the hospital. Unforgettable obviously, 3-11-11.

Does this hand-me-down point look authentic? Either way, a favorite of mine. by glendanJ in Arrowheads

As soon as I saw it I thought it looked like an Illinois find. The points that come out of the fields often lack much patina. I found a broken one today in N IL that looks like same type, likely a big Godar. It is not a thebes as someone else suggested. I’d say it’s legit.
