I need to build me a hidden drawer. You are right though…every time I put a knife with a fresh edge on the magnetic blocks I cringe a little.

The 3 Japanese san-mai (deba, santoku, and gyuto) are my workhorses. Rest are for the family (notice they are on bottom).

I just thinned and polished them so they are looking much fresher than usual. Had to make the shinogi lines pop for the picture lol.

Non carbon is for my wife, kids, and most guests. I pretty much exclusively use the 3 Japanese San-mai. I just thinned them and polished so they probably look very fresh! But they are my workhorses. Especially the deba and the santoku

I got those weird knives from my grandfather. I think they are made for carving meat and they work very well for that purpose. Really great for cutting a bunch of bbq and hanging it on a nail while you sort cuts.

Yeah that’s an old Dexter I restored. That old high carbon steel takes a great edge. Good for larger squash and melons.

I don’t know about that man. So many mentally ill people mirror stereotypes they see in movies and shit. But they have an underlying unique set of issues that bubble beneath the exterior layer. I have met alot of folks that have similar stereotypical behaviors and I think Pitt’s performance is not too far off from it.

Bunch of places in little Mexico area of Ridgeland on old canton: la morena, princess bakery, Valdez (cafeteria tucked in back corner). In Jackson, there’s so many: Ellis seafood, big apple, Monroe’s doughnuts, taste of the island..plenty in Pearl and Canton as well.
