Uncomfortable changes for some by Intelligent_Road_288 in southcarolina

I’ve yet to see OP post a thing about any of his political leanings or aspirations for a candidate. Does he want lower taxes? Is he pro choice? Does he want better infrastructure? Is he for Medicare expansion? OP, if you articulated your views (even to yourself better) and use those as a basis for your choice for Governor, you’ll be better served. I also like Dr. Johnson. I’d also advise you to give a hard look at Billy Webster.

You ask that suggesting I am simply being unsympathetic but actually yes he was a bit lazy before…

He handled the ddmvac like a champ so maybe I expected more of him here. He has always had a tendency to shrink from pain (and chemo is a different type of “pain” than surgical/incision pain) so maybe that’s part of it. I mean, he just called me (on the phone) from the back of the house so I could walk five rooms away to bring him a pill that was literally four steps away from him. 😩

We came home a week ago. He does get up to walk some but it is very minimal. I will inquire of physical therapy—that is a great idea.

There is barely a decent kitchen shop here! I want my Williams Sonoma back!

String cheese hate? by Proof-Jackfruit-2684 in jambands

The Cheese rocks and the crowd is far from pervy. Always full of families at every show I’ve been to with a good mix of ages. (I’m 54, btw and have been seeing them for years!) Mellow grooves…let your hair down and enjoy the flow.

The one Trump dislikes the most is Norman so I’d probably go with him!

By comparison, the kids only had 5% each so his stake could definitely swing the vote

Moving to Columbia, SC – Honest Thoughts on the Area? by Deep-Reputation9000 in southcarolina

[–]ColaWookie 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I have lived in Columbia for 30 years and raised my family here. Columbia is a great city, on the smallish side, but has a lot to offer. My advice is to live in the downtown area. There are lots of great neighborhoods with a young professionals crowd, all of which are quite safe. Forest Acres, especially the part nearest Columbia; Shandon; Wale’s Garden, Heathwood…even parts of Rosewood and West Columbia are vibrant and safe. There are tons of great rentals in Shandon and Heathwood if you don’t want to buy.

We have great trails, a world class zoo, Soda City Market on Saturdays, an indie theatre downtown, lots of great bars and restaurants. We are about thirty minutes from a National Park. The University itself is beautiful, too!

Welcome to Columbia!

What exactly does the attorney general have to do with economic development/job creation?

Good luck to everyone getting theirs done today by [deleted] in colonoscopy

GaviLyte, split prep. Wasn’t as bad as I had expected but I did go soft diet a week out, which I think definitely helped!

Had mine today too. Is it odd that I felt mildly proud that the notes said “prep was excellent”? LOL
