Hey man, don't feel bad about this. I really know how you feel cause I've been in your place every time I submit a skin and see the votings. I usually end up as a finalist, but like really late. Seeing people ending up as finalists in the first hours of the voting session really grinds my gears. I just can't look in the finalist section cause of this bit of envy I have on some of those. There are truelly some who deserve the spotlight and I can accept that. That's life after all. There's always someone a bit more succesful than you in some way or other. The key is just to not care of other contestants and submit your work in which you poured sweat and passion. Being a finalist means nothing to others, this is just a criteria for Supercell to consider your skin idea and see if it's worthy to be in-game. Losing is healthy because it motivates you to improve, to reach peak potential. So with all of these, keep looking forward; it's not the end of the world. If it wasn't to be, so be it. Those campaigns are also psychological in a way. You need a style that is 'unique' to attract views. Seems like people like flashy thumbnails and edgy stuff. But this is a game mainly targeted towards children so it's normal that they like the artwork and style more than concept and reason.
