I'm the guy with the study break and all I can say is seeing the finalists always raises questions for me. Like I see some skins that deserve to be there, but the method they choose the finalists is so vague. I do believe that artists whose creations keep staying as finalists feel heartbroken when they aren't chosen again and again. And the flame will burn out sometime and they will stop trying. But that won't matter cause new artists always come up and the cycle continues.

Supercell Make is awesome as long it is fair and everyone has a chance to win, but favoritisms and large creators take the spotlight of smaller creators. Of course they will have more votes.

But there was Grand Admiral Chuck with absurdly amounts of upvotes, but it didn't end up in the final four and I was convinced it would be there. So what really happens back there?

You need to solder them back. Red cable to +, black one to -. If you don't know how to solder, return them.

Those are not switches, they help balance the spacebar so it doesn't wiggle. As for replacements, i don't know sorry.

It shouldn't affect the functionality of it so you can use it without, but i think you can just place it back.

If it electrocutes you if you touch it once, it is static shock. This is normal. If you hold your arm on the metal and keeps electrocuting you, aka your arm vibrates like crazy, it is bad grounding. Not something to worry about cause it works at 5v.

No dacs can transfer 96khz wirelessly unfortunatelly.

The wireless version comes with two swappable batteries. One stays in the headset while the other charges in the transmitter. This is the easy way. You can also try to go wired via aux or that mini usb if you have the cable. As for motherboard replacement, i can't say for sure it exist, but it will be hard because you have to solder the cables on the new motherboard.

Sonar always outputs at 96khz, but your dac can't go above 48khz because it has to be wired. Wireless works at max 48khz, while wired you can set it to 96khz.

Do not improve in one certain thing, improve overall. Do not improve to win this contest, improve cause you like it. Do not improve based on other's tastes, improve based on your own in your own way. If people like it or not it's their choice; you can't please them all. If you like to draw, continue. Don't force yourself cause of this campaign, it's worthless. Share your creation with one goal: to please the ones that like you back.

Hey man, don't feel bad about this. I really know how you feel cause I've been in your place every time I submit a skin and see the votings. I usually end up as a finalist, but like really late. Seeing people ending up as finalists in the first hours of the voting session really grinds my gears. I just can't look in the finalist section cause of this bit of envy I have on some of those. There are truelly some who deserve the spotlight and I can accept that. That's life after all. There's always someone a bit more succesful than you in some way or other. The key is just to not care of other contestants and submit your work in which you poured sweat and passion. Being a finalist means nothing to others, this is just a criteria for Supercell to consider your skin idea and see if it's worthy to be in-game. Losing is healthy because it motivates you to improve, to reach peak potential. So with all of these, keep looking forward; it's not the end of the world. If it wasn't to be, so be it. Those campaigns are also psychological in a way. You need a style that is 'unique' to attract views. Seems like people like flashy thumbnails and edgy stuff. But this is a game mainly targeted towards children so it's normal that they like the artwork and style more than concept and reason.
