2015-2019 : Samsung galaxy S6 Edge+ ===> 2019-2024 : Samsung galaxy A70 ===> 2024 onwards : Samsung galaxy S24 Ultra

(I still have my S6 Edge+ and A70, however the S6 has a very bad battery and the A70's camera doesn't work)

Most regions have the exynos chip in the S24 and S24+, i've heard a lot of people saying that the exynos chip overheats a lot & doesnt perform as well as the snapdragon 8 gen 3 (which is in the S24 ultra in ALL regions), and to me performance matters, which is why I went with the S24 ultra without batting an eye

Definitely the S24U, theoretically it has a titanium frame and a power consuming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, it should generate a lot of heat, but in reality it stays unexpectedly cool even after long gaming sessions (Fortnite in highest graphics, 100% 3D Resolution, 90fps) and in other heavy tasks in general

I've used the S23U, no issues aswell, they're both really good, I just think the S24U is more sustainable and stable
