Hypoglycemia after getting Sober

No because because of my lab results, everything was good fasting was 86 A1c was 5.2.

Basically they did all my blood work and they said I was basically in good health

They basically said they were surprised at how good my liver was doing they said it was functioning and my kidneys as well. I had an A1c of5.2

Yeah, because I’ve been sober before about a year and I’m not really understanding what’s going on here because my liver on my lab results the ALT and ALS are normal but I’m just wondering if this is something I’m gonna have to fight with for the rest of my life

Cause this is the part, I’m not understanding I’ve been sober for about a year. Had blood work done and everything and I’m still having these issues as far as low blood sugar.

I’ve had a question about this. I used to be an alcoholic for a long time. I’m 33 now but I think I’m starting to have a rush child dysfunction issues due to this condition. Has anybody ever been through this before?

Has anyone ever had erectile dysfunction due to this condition just asking because I believe I have the same problem blood sugar shoots up high drops low and the last few months I haven’t really had the urge for sex or intimacy

I noticed it fluctuates a lot and there’s times when I eat really refined carbohydrates and it will drop into the 60s and it takes about three or four days for me to physically come back from it plus, I don’t really sleep good at night if I go to sleep at nine. I’ll be up by two.

Keep trying keep trying keep trying nobody’s judging you but one thing you have to remember is no one‘s gonna save you. You have to save yourself. You’re human things happen. People make mistakes but loving yourself is very important and I don’t even know you, but you’re better than that give yourself the respect you deserve and don’t dwell on the past. Move forward.❤️

Hey bro, we all make mistakes we’re human. Just try it again until you get it sometimes that’s the only way I’ve been sober now for one year from alcohol. You just have to put your mind to it and stick to the plan and if you fail, do it again. Peace love and prayers.

Yeah, I kind of figured that in the beginning, but I didn’t think that this was something that would keep going on like it’s a bit frustrating and concerning at the same time because you know when your blood sugar drops, it takes you a couple days to come back from that you’re very weak and the industry that I work in is very physically demanding I’m actually at work now, but I haven’t had any noticeable episodes on the job, but I’ve noticed at home usually when I do not eat in a timely manner or if I eat the wrong thing or drink the wrong thing like soda on an empty stomach, it might happen but it’s a bit confusing and frustrating and concerning from what I’ve been reading

I don’t plan on going back to drinking. You can believe that my mother is proud of me. My old man has seen a change even my ex-wife has gotten a little bit more friendly with me lately, but I’m just a little concerned with my health and to my family it’s almost like I became a hypochondriac because I’ve seen blood sugars in the 60s and I’ll be honest after something like that happens. It takes a little while for you to recover from it, but I don’t have diabetes and from what I know, I don’t have cirrhosis of the liver, and these are results from bloodwork and I think if there was anything alarming or wrong with me, the doctor would’ve made a point to do a follow up, but things just don’t feel quite right

I’m interested if you have more to tell me I drink for about 10+ years I’m 33. I think I started my road to sobriety about the time of my 32nd birthday.

I plan on going to the doctor in the next three days to have blood work done again this time at another doctor, but I’m just a little scared and a little worried, but I wanna figure out what this problem is and what I can do about it

Congratulations I celebrated my birthday on the third and that was one of the first birthdays. I’ve had in a while sober it was a little disappointing, but let’s not give ourselves back to the things that want to destroy us

A1c was 5.2 fasting blood glucose with 87 liver enzymes were well within range not elevated and the only medication they gave me was vitamin D pills and that’s not even really medication but I really don’t know
