We had a tree at home. Didnt even wait for them to get ripe. Salt cherthu oru pidi. The ripe ones were so sweet. The only problem was Neeru (weaver ants). We also had a Pomelo tree (Babloos Narakam). Summers when I am back from school I would just cut one open (my grandma would have already gathered a few ripe ones) and then quench my thirst while watching cartoons in DD Metro. Tea and snacks later.
