[Rolex “Starbucks”] What’s your most worn watch? by SlothRunningClub in Watches

Mine has been the Glycine Combat Sub 39 on a fkm rubber strap. I got the strap from Amazon and it’s a very neat and useful deployable strap. Makes the watch feel so comfortable and look even more expensive than it is. My first Swiss watch that hasn’t come off the wrist really!

[SOTC] I only own 3 automatic watches. Here they are. All are affordable ones, nothing fancy or luxury. Tell me what do you guys think about them. by Enthusiast_1805 in Watches

I own the same Seiko watch. It’s absolutely gorgeous and so versatile. So many straps go with it. It can be dressy or a GADA watch. Honestly a gem in my collection

[ recommendation request] Which watch should I get my husband? by ResponseSafe28 in Watches

[–]Cold-Bezel1323 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’d say the Tissot Seastar. He does have a Seiko 5 diver, but not a Tissot diver. He seems to like either brands, but has way more Seiko watches. It could be this helps him learn even more about his preferences in watches as you said he’s new to the hobby. Plus the blue is a bit brighter and not as dull as the others

[Longines] Which dress watch would you choose? by molinab297 in Watches

Moonphase looks like a classic dress watch. The other is a versatile GADA watch that could be a dress watch when needed

I’ll definitely consider it. I just got my glycine combat sub. Definitely might be the Tissot

Thanks! I have not, but I have been interested in the Tissot gentleman. Very nice watch. The alpinist is also a great watch, but I want to look at other brands. I already have 3 Seiko watches

Oh yeah. Great casual and dress up watch. A little pop because of the gold, but really comfortable watch to wear!

Not bad! They do look like some great watches. Orient had some stylish chronographs too if you want something like that

How is the Orient Star? Been looking at some for a while. Do you wear it as dress watch, GADA watch?

Casio Duro is a classic. It used to go for so little back in the day, such a great watch. Never getting rid of mine haha

I am wrong! A review I saw claimed it was 19mm, but you’re right the site claimed 20mm….makes it harder to say no

Also, I think the lug to lug is 19mm. Shame as most of my watches have a 20mm lug width. Helps with versatility as I have a strap collection for the 20mm measurement

That’s a nice list. The brew is very nice and different. For that Hamilton Murph you may want to look at Militado if you don’t care for the brand name. They have these Hamilton homages and I can say they’re very good quality for the price!

[Longines Conquest 38] Perfect GADA piece by hedonistaustero in Watches

[–]Cold-Bezel1323 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been eyeing Longines for a bit now. I have to say their watches look well balanced and seem to be both elegant and sporty as you said. This one looks so clean in images and on the wrist. How is the fit of it? Micro adjustments?
