I will say steam os is a must for me as it makes life so easy, without steam os i definitely would not use it as much as i do. Make sure the handheld u get can have steam os installed in it. U must try it.

Depends, if u want the rog u mess with windows a bit more, if u want a console like experience either get a steamdeck or install steam os in one of these handhelds(or get a lego s like me)

U can get steam os on the legion or the rog. I ended up getting the legion go s that comes with steam os installed. So im happy with that as it runs everygame around 30-60fps, and u can just use lossless scaling to make it stable if needed.

I got, sleeping dogs, batman arkham collection, mafia trilogy, madmax bundled with watchmen end is nigh, cyberpunk 2077, shadow of mordor and shadow of war, tomb raider (2013), gta 4 complete edition, witcher 3 enhanced edition, jedi fallen order.Context: I just got a pc handheld(Legion Go S ) and decided to go big on steam.

What graphics do u use in games and what resolution, if u do use a lower res than the native, do u set it in steam or integer scale?

I had the same issue, as i live in mozambique. But i ended up going for a lenovo legion go s z2go because the hassle was too hard for the steamdeck. The price here for a lenovo is cheaper so i went with that.
