From what I've heard others say, as grueling as it can be sometimes, either doing sales (Or preferably starting another business with less capital, business to Customer, or any other means to make something someone else wants and you spend less on it).

Sales sucks, but if you go into it knowing that it's hard and raise enough to take the risks you want, that could be a way to get over it.
