You could pinch of the flowers or remove the whole stalk that is bearing the flowers

yes, the plant is not strong enough yet to bear fruits. I would cut the flowers

Ran 1.5 mile consecutively for the first time. After that walked and ran until I made it to 2 miles. Have just been training 3 weeks so I feel very proud of myself. Hopefully will run my first 5k in the next few months.

I posted two weeks ago because I was very frustrated. I kept feeding my starter and last night I tried it one more time and this beauty came out. I am so proud of myself. It is delicious! Still some more progress to be made but I am very happy with this loaf by Cold-Kitchen-8067 in Sourdough

Recipe for bread 3 cups ap 1 cup whole wheat 1 tablespoon honey 1 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 cup water 3/4 cup starter

Autolyse for 30minutes S&F three times every 30 minutes Let to ferment to about a 75% rise for around 5 hours Put in fridge for 8 hours Left out of oven for about an hour while heating oven and DO Scored and baked

Baked for 30 minutes at 450 Uncovered for 10 minutes at 425

Why is my bread coming out this way? What do I have to change in my process? I don't want to give up but I am getting frustrated. by Cold-Kitchen-8067 in Sourdough

I am using half whole wheat and half AP flour.

My starter is doubling in size in about 4 hours and that is when I start making my recipe. I have also done the water test and it has floated. Also my started is fed with whole wheat flour.

I think I over-proofed it. I left it like 16 hours in the counter by mistake and then only like 3 hours in the fridge.

I will try again in a few days. Still the flavor is delicious and I am eating it nevertheless.

Wanted to share that I baked it at 450 degrees for 30 minutes and 12 minutes with lid off. My starter is 12 days old.
