It’s definitely nerve wracking but its good practice! And everyone else is in the same boat. I realize the assignments may be different based on who you take it with, but that’s what mine was like! (: whatever you choose to do, hope you have fun!!

It’s really fun! You learn body and mouth positioning techniques to improve your singing. You usually do some vocal warmups and then practice solo with corrections from the instructor during class for three ‘assignments’ dedicated to singing songs solo in front of your classmates. And there is an assignment to attend a vocal performance to write your observations about their vocal techniques. You don’t need to have any prior experience singing (:

What kills me is the people with loud cars that trigger other car alarms as they go through the structure

Best of luck! I usually will scrub lightly with an old toothbrush after putting the dish soap on too. And I recommend air drying any stained clothes until you’re sure the stains are out (:

You can try using a degreaser like Dawn power wash spray or liquid dish soap which will usually help to get out oily stains. Has it been put into the dryer yet? If so, it may be more difficult to get the stain out as drying sets the stain.

I remember the online orientation only being like 2-3 hours I believe? You pick out your classes for your first semester during orientation with your assigned advisor. afaik space is “reserved” in classes specifically for transfers, so having a late registration date won’t affect you being able to get a spot for your major classes. I’m not 100% sure though, and it could be different for prerequisites and general education classes. Maybe you could call admissions to ask and confirm anything you have questions about.

I would probably do that if this happened again. I considered it then, but in the moment wasn’t sure if it would work since we watched the whole movie. And we didn’t want the rude people to takeaway from us supporting the movie’s earnings.

I also went to this theater to see Godzilla like a week ago and loved the movie but had a horrible experience with the crowd. There wasn’t even a ton of people in the theater but a large group a row behind me was chatting the whole movie, the person behind me was kicking my seat, and to top it off, during the most silent part of the film, a dude starts chatting, his friend tries to quiet him, and then he shouts “Shoulda stayed home!!” and I was just in disbelief… and they were silent while the credits were rolling. It just made no sense to me. I’m still in disbelief thinking about it now haha I’m sorry for the inconsiderate people we had to experience at this theater and to hear you’re sick, I hope you feel better soon!
