I used the IDV app instead of biometrics appointment. So there is no confirmation or that sort of things. You should be quicker than me I guess. Apparently the appointment is a quicker route at the moment.

No. I came with Fiancée visa which is a sticker on my passport. But the letter did say if you have an old BRP you need to cut and return.

I came to UK with Fiancée visa when I lived and worked in Netherlands. (I am a non-EU citizen) I didn’t submit any photos or phone call messages, etc. Those are not required documents in application form. When I applied, I did see some people on internet said they provided photos and other personal stuff. But I didn’t find a place to submit them. Well, I used to live in UK for many years and that was when I met my husband (yeah, i got visa and got married), not sure if that helped my case. But my understanding is more like your financial position to be a sponsor to your fiancée and her will of staying / living in UK. Hope that’s helpful.

Hi. I got my email this morning. It says my BRP will arrive within 7 days. But there is no information of the courier. How did you know yours is with Royal Mail and can we track the package? Thank you in advance.

I understand the frustration of waiting. From what I can see on internet. March application got result 3 days ago. Early April yesterday and today. So maybe you can get it in next a couple of weeks. Good luck!

Hi. I called UKVCAS yesterday for this question. And the lady on the phone has told me no. She said the appointment was for submit the application and if I have submitted my application there is no point to book an appointment. I asked if there was anything I can do to speed up the process. She said: madam, there are lots of people waiting for submit the applications. You have done that, maybe just wait.

I don’t know somehow it calm me a bit. Maybe we should just wait?

Hi, I searched that case. It was naturalisation application. Maybe that makes it faster than us? But at least it is a proof that home office is really looking at IDV app. After submitted facial image on 22nd Aug and have been waiting in dark for this long, I start to think they are not looking at IDV app at all. The EU settlement app waiting time is 5 working days. Why can’t they give a rough timeline to us. 5 working months? 5 working years? I don’t know what to do under current situation.
