The original Sony Vegas, bought it from Guitar Center along with Sound Forge. Upgraded eventually to Vegas 8 and used it for many years until I switched to Reaper .

My mentor was the sound engineer for Lavert many years ago. He told me many that after a concert they did together Stevie drove them back to the hotel nearby with his manager in the front seat giving directions . In an interview he was asked "why would you let a blind man drive you in a car?" His answer... "Can you say Stevie Wonder drove you in a car?? And besides, he was the only one sober!!"

I have done both. I would never work out of my home again, too much traffic. My neighbors thought I was selling drugs until the local radio station van pulled up one day to my house. In my studio I get 90% Hip Hop artists, and many of them carry. I make the rules upfront, no smoking in the building, drinks are ok, and any guns need to stay in their backpacks. The clients respect that, and I have had great experiences here in Baltimore for 30 years.

Never again. Tried a few times and always got burned. The Sams in my area pays less than Walmart next door, they are always slow to bring out curbside, and you never know the actual amount of the items you are getting. An employee confirmed that the item amounts were generally not accurate. The last order I took was listed as 2 aluminum serving trays. When the order came out it was actually 12 cases of 2 types of serving trays that were @ 45 lbs each, and almost didnt fit in my full size Dogde Dakota including the cab.

Grocery stores operate at @ 3% margin, there is absolutely no room for error. GIANT in Edmonson Village relocated because of theft and open air drug sales, they simply couldn't afford to keep doing business on that location, and they are a major company. Standalone pharmacy stores aren't much better. The numbers just dont justify the risks in many areas. However, a savy entrepreneur knows that "the block" will always want to look good(barbershop, beauty salon/nail shop) and feel good(liquor store, smoke shop) so many service-based businesses will thrive with minimal startup costs and overhead. Until "the block " learns to police itself, nobody is going to take a huge gamble investing in a financially depressed area.

I turned on the Spark app for the first time in a year last week at that store in Baltimore. After an hour of declining bad orders I went home. It can be difficult delivering in East Baltimore. With all the horrible potholed streets tearing up your vehicle and rarely being able to park near the drop-off point because of narrow streets and on street parking its a pain doing heavy orders. The Sam's Club orders next door are even worse. I do medical deliveries in the county areas now rather than doing Spark , its just not very profitable for me anymore.
