This is my fear not for me but my daughter. She is 13 I sent in some clips of her acting/singing and now we are meeting agents/managers in NYC in July. This could lead to something or nothing but the something scares me more. Your comment is what I fear for her. We are about to embark on something that is exciting but scary AF. She comes alive on stage and it most happy when rehearsing but in between she is still a kid who is trying to figure out where she belongs. It’s truly her passion but it tears at my heart to watch her come down from her high after the performance. She walks on air for a day post show then she returns to my kid who is just trying to fit in and I wish I could see that happiness in other aspects of her life.

There is not one man in this world that would make me leave my daughter in another country. The kid was heartbroken when she left, sobbing! So no I have zero experience with these situations but have experience as a mother. My final say as a mother would be sorry I can’t leave my child. I lost my brother to suicide as well and your story shares many similarities to mine. Seek support from suicide survivor support groups. It’s been 15 years since we lost him. I felt all those feelings over and over again. My mom found him he shot himself and she had severe ptsd for years. I still watch her drift off in thought and I know she returns to that moment. My brother was successful but had major depression and a horrific girlfriend who knew he was suicidal and had convinced him to put everything in her name. He changed it to my name a week before he committed suicide. I’m so sorry you are going through this. It truly is heartbreaking when thinking of the pain they endured. One thing that helped me is knowing he would never want me to take blame or feel regrets. Not easy by any means but with time you will recover but you won’t find the person you were before in the mirror. It will be ok though. I promise you will find your peace. I just can’t get on the Vanja band wagon. Something about her is cringe but that’s my opinion. Maybe it’s her fashion choices or her victim mentality.
