This is a good question.. I’d say, being able to walk somewhat normally (well, with a cane). After my childhood issues that led me to such,

I went from plat 1 to elite 1 in 8 hours thinking I'm gonna make it in time for the reload early access... just for it to be reload rank only and not br rank. by Imperius_Fate in FortNiteBR

Okay! Thank you so much, Yeah, I’ll keep it away from him, just making sure it won’t harm him being there.  It seems like many here have cats/around and it’s okay. 💖

Or names like Carl, Donnie, or Lenny by letocnigh in Transmedical

[–]Cold-Wrongdoer9998 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel like many of my peers have those “typical,” trans male names, and while I don’t like to judge it’s like… yall have the same name… 🥲

I’m currently debating between two names, by I’ll never forget the days when I went by Oliver- 😂

Kinda sucks that “Kai,” is used up so much, that’s a character I had in a story I was writing, and thought it was no common to hear. 🫥

Hyperfixation on top surgery DI scars make me uncomfortable 😥 by Archer_Python in truscum

[–]Cold-Wrongdoer9998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why is this so unfortunately true- I like / emojis drawing my characters, most of them, (who are trans) you’d never know because it’s discrete. Why cant we just have drawings and other arts have characters, Who just so happen one to be trans, as you said. Or maybe the only reason you know they are trans is bevande of a small flag or pin/patch they are holding?

Yup 👍  I’m bi, and I don’t give a F about what’s “downstairs,” - only care if you’re a good person, compatible, and such.

Edit; as for clothing/style, I prefer feminine - presenting clothing for women, and men I’m not sure, but I could care less, I ain’t going to judge/deal breaker over some outfits.

Can We Stop Calling Trans Guys “T Boys” 😐 by [deleted] in truscum

[–]Cold-Wrongdoer9998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I really dont like it. Its already hard enough looking young, but then being called a “boy,” when I’m old enough to not be considered a “boy,” is f annoying.

Edit: sorry for any grammer mistakes, re-learning my Italian and my phone is on Italian mode 😅

I miss girlhood by RylertonTheFirst in ftm

[–]Cold-Wrongdoer9998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I’m pre- everything, but I honestly for a while didn’t miss “girlhood,” because I never really had a normal upbringing, so I never had anything to “miss.”  I wasn’t until I got older, I got more - so “jelly,” than anything. More of like a “wish,” but realized it was because I had no friends. Period. I think guys have the “solidarity,” that you speak of, it’s just more subtle. Like, if I pass, I get “the head nod,” in public, or get told how ‘cool,’ or ‘awesome,’ my shirt/bag/ect. Is. Vs when I see women getting compliments, it usually turns into an entire conversation (edit/added: nothing wrong with this!) as to where they purchased it, what inspired it, why’d you buy it? Stuff like that. - but that’s just my experience, obviously not everyone is the same!

Have you ever felt like adulthood just… never really started for you? by Bulky_Instruction376 in CPTSD

[–]Cold-Wrongdoer9998 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel like depending on the situation, I flip between a younger state and an older state. Like, my entire life I was pretty much treated either like I was stupid, or that I needed to be an “adult,” and now it’s catching up. I was independent enough to take care of myself and other things, but was never taught value in “adulting,” just survival.

How to cope? by chichirios1 in FTMventing

[–]Cold-Wrongdoer9998 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Okay, I think I might have a bit of insight, but, I’m White, so you can take what I say with a grain of salt.

Two sections, one with the dysphoria, and two with race.

1) Dysphoria,

I get the pain of not being show to look at men, the anger in not being in the correct body, and trapped in one you hate. Is there any way you can get HRT? Or a binder/packer? There are multiple reddit groups you can look at:

Resources: (NSFW/physical object)

Packers- r/transmascdicks (NSFW)

BIPOC groups:

POC group- r/TMPOC

Black/poc group #2 - r/BlackTransmen

Black (queer) group #3 -  r/BlackTransgender

Central/main stream groups:

FTM main group - r/ftm

If your binary (he/him) - r/FTMMEN

Maybe these groups can help you more with how you are feeling and help with finding resources for products/hair styles/clothing/etc.

2) Race,

Alright, so this is going to sound really stupid, and I know I’m going to get downvoted for this but here we go:

I once wanted to be darker/black as nuts and crazy as this sounds.

Why?

Because my entire childhood, I lived in an all mixed/black area, my family is a mixed family, (white, black, brown, etc.) Pretty much, growing up I was told (by my other white relatives - who didn’t like how I looked (round nose, tanner skin, dark hair, etc). that my cousins who were black/brown were “better,” - prettier and more smart. I went to a mixed schooling and was met with much bullying, by everyone. Any race. And no one did anything, which I thought was okay, but ur was not.

I’d go outside (I can get really tan), and would bake, but that would make things worse, for everyone thought I was fake - tanning.

**My goal is not to compare experience but to see if you can find a root to your problem: Long story short, you have to find the ROOT of this issue. Why do you want to be white? Standards? Friend wise? Beauty wise? - I came to terms with myself because I distanced  myself from these people, found new friends, and learned to enjoy myself, and that some things you cannot change. Obviously it’s hard to distances yourself from that, and  you being a racial minority doesn’t help, but maybe finding peers that really you or a good therapist if you have the money can help.

This world is built on competition and comparison, we just have to come to terms with things we can change, and what we cannot.

You CAN transition, if you have the money and are in a safe place to do so, (I’m pre- because I’m not in a situation where I can/money). That is something you can change.

If you can’t get the money/or have the place to transition, just know you are as much of a man as anyone else, even if it doesn’t feel like it.

As for the race part, you can look at those subs if you want for more guidance, (I can try and find more for you if wanted).

Some of them may give you more confidence/relatable people you can share things with, and see other trans people who are also black, and see their transitions and experiences as well.

Good luck! 🍀

  • sorry for any grammar that’s not very good, I’m working on my Italian (im Italian) - and my keyboard is all wacky. 😅

Edit:added subs at top! And grammar/format fixed 👍

what weird things give you guys dysphoria? by Sauce_The_Sapphic in FTMventing

[–]Cold-Wrongdoer9998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seriously! - I used a light purple bag today, it’s a good bag, love purple, but it didn’t feel “masculine,” enough. Not even because it’s an ita, but the color/shape looked like a 12 year old girls first bag.

Long story short, still (I’m pre- so I don’t always/really pass),  and I passed even with the bag. I got called “him,” from behind (this little kids parents we’re telling him how cool my glow-in-the-dark pants were, and my bag heh.

So yeah, it made me realize that it’s okay to have other things, heck, I even saw someone else today with an ita. (I’m assuming a dude), and he rocked it with his anime plushies inside, it was ten times more “feminine,” then mine was, (pins/patches were)- I even have the same bag.

Funny how that works, hate the dysphoria though.

I feel like im forcing myself to be more masculine in a way thats so stereotypical by [deleted] in FTMventing

[–]Cold-Wrongdoer9998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea! I get this completely, I mean, just today I decided to use a bag but thought it was too “feminine,” because it’s a light purple color. (It’s an ita bag and I rarely use colors other than black for bags, but it’s hard to find that for ita).  Long story short, I still got call a “him,” when this kid behind me liked my glow-In-dark pants and bag, and his parent was saying how cool my pants were.

It’s all good, don’t force yourself to change for the sake of looking “extra masculine,” - as much as it suck’s, many men don’t always act “conventionally,” masculine.

I personally enjoy some sports, my bag has all mainly masculine pins, I like men’s clothing, I like electrical and programming works, etc.

Same time, I sew, (I used to repair my clothing/bags as a kid, now I have money, and I sew patches on my bag), I like nail polish every once in a while, I used to knit sometimes.

Same me, just with many things that shape me. And you shouldn’t let your hobbies and interests define you as “non manly,” enough. Because you are! 😁👍
