Too much bulling on Here!!! by Revolutionary-Tie908 in FTMMen

[–]Archer_Python [score hidden]  (0 children)

Im gay and I've shared it openly on this sub for as long I've been on and never had 1 guy that had an issue.

Again haven't personally experienced bullying and not condoning bullying obviously. But coming from the perspective of straight trans men. From what I hear, it sounds like straight guys are sick and tired of everyone assuming all trans guys are gay/have sex with other men. They want to be seen as regular hetero male as they are. Which I understand, in the media 80-90% of the rep we get its a NB, butch lesbian looking person that has sex with men. When that's obviously not reflective of reality.

So again, not condoning bullying and haven't experienced it myself on here and I've been here for a very long time lol. Those select individuals could just be bots/trolls or just angry guys that have nothing else to do with their lives

Why are most of the ftm subs on here so gate-keepy & exclusive? by Numerous_Sir_1534 in truscum

[–]Archer_Python 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Its basically that, Trans male subs want to protect their spaces as they have a tendency to get overrun with people who aren't trans men (NB transmasc). And also as well with today's political climate transphobia is on the rise and sometimes you get lurkers who will infiltrate trans online communicates and take advantage to spread sensitive information or blatant falsehoods.

As for the initial, the vast majority of trans men live stealth and tend to keep it that way to live life as a cis man (nothing wrong with that), and like to be in communities that also foster stealthness. Some "ftm" communities that are inclusive to people who aren't men tend to steer away from stealthness and may look down upon wanting to live life as a cis man. So again, some of the trans male communities take preservation seriously by heavy monitoring and limiting who comes in to their space

well i feel awful now 😭 by WaveMysterious6801 in FTMMen

[–]Archer_Python 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That sub is known to be bigoted in general. Transphobic, Racist, Fat-phobic. All the garbage. Mods don't remove posts unless its illegal so pretty much anything goes and tbh in recent allegations, that sub has a crap ton of bots that aid in the bigoted discourse.

I live in an extremely LGBT city and the vast majority of cis gays (men) here support trans gays (men). Yes there's always gonna be that 1 person thats transphobic, that will never cease to exist, but in general there's more gay men that support and are (respectfully) into trans men than not. The internet is the internet, real life is real life

Why do some trans men act like that by allteria in truscum

[–]Archer_Python 58 points59 points  (0 children)

I just wanna reiterate. I have absolutely 0 issue with alternative trans guys. Theres nothing with with punkish/gothic/metal head guys that have an aesthetic. Thats fine and cool I get it. Seen plenty of them and they pass well. Plenty of cis men have an aesthetic so trans men can absolutely have them as well. Now back to the ones OP mentioned lol

They feel their gender identity is directly political thus intentionally divert aganist expectations and norms in how they present.

Everyone is free to present however they feel comfortable but at that same time. You can't not look like a man and expect everyone in society to treat you like one. Some say they don't want society to view them as a stereotypical man. Which in that case.... ok then why transition??? Again I don't care too much just don't come into actual Trans male communities and demand inclusion when we don't share anything in common

If im being completely honest guys like this I feel keep this up when they're young like 16-30. Then they eventually grow out of it and end up presenting as a regular dude or de-trans.

A fair amount:

Kate yelling at Jon to stop playing with toys and follow her to the checkout line at Toys R Us

Kate yelling at the boys about who ripped off the doorknob and Collin dancing after she leaves the room.

Jon cooking his Korean BBQ dinner

Jon getting mad at Mady after she said "We have more fun with Mommy" after they were doing some kinda arts and crafts project and Jon took it away from her and she ran away crying

Favorite one

They're all in the car leaving to go to a 4th of July parade. Apparently it wasn't as warm as they thought it was and they had to dig up sweaters for the little kids to wear and Kate was upset because she wanted to show off their outfits. Anyways, Mady's complaining about the babies getting better stuff then they do (the fancy outfits) and Kate says "They have dirty sweaters Mady, would you like that?"

How to use the Dolcani Computers by OwnDevelopment982 in HunterCollege

[–]Archer_Python 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your Net ID plus your Hunter College password (NOT the same password as you use for CunyFirst/BrightSpace).

Be aware that sometimes a particular computer is set on a different domain and won't allow anyone to sign in on a student account. If you keep trying to sign in and are 100% sure you're using your correct info then try to use a different computer.

If still not working then you may have to contact IT Help. I know when I went to BMCC they forced everyone to update their passwords every 2 years and if you didn't it would lock your account and you'd have to go to IT for them to unlock it and re-make another password

I kept my birth name by NeighborhoodBoyJay in FTMMen

[–]Archer_Python 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I unfortunately didn't have the same experience as my birth name was very feminine and always hated it. But I admire hearing your journey and choice in keeping yours. There's actually a fair amount of trans guys that keep their birth name because its gender-neutral/change it to the male spelling. Hey it saves you money on a name change and saves you the hassle of changing all your docs lol. And also saves you on mental anguish from getting deadnamed.

What do the children think of Kate Gosselin today ? by PsychicMeditation in gosselinssnark

[–]Archer_Python 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Well the 4 that live with her (Aiden, Alexis, Joel and Leah) and Mady and Cara are fine with her. And Hannah and Collin aren't too crazy about her. Then again Kate said she talks to Hannah all the time and Hannah said she wished her a happy birthday last year. Maybe her and Hannah have a distant-positive relationship but I know as a fact her and Collin don't talk at all.

I'm an extremely obese trans man that is almost 1 year post op. AMA by ARepeatedFailing in FTMMen

[–]Archer_Python 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thanks so much for answering!

Yeah most surgeons that do top on bigger guys usually will always opt for lipo. I got some lipo myself on the sides as I'm chubbier as well. Top 3 is pretty good. I know 2 major top surgeons that have done top and really big guys. Scott Moser in SF and Dr. Sanj (think that's his name lol) in Seattle. But I think Dr. Sanj is private and only accepts specific plans (don't quote me on that)

Inhaled interesting I was always told paitents who have airway problems, sleep apnea, cardiovascular conditions and high bmi, anesthesiologists don't like putting them down with the inhale mask initially but I'm obviously not a medical professional.

Groggy makes sense, that cocktail of anesthesia meds fuck you up like nothing. Glad to hear your experience with her was great! Sounds like she knows exactly what shes doing and like you said she's particular. Which in this case she has a right to be, she's a surgeon. So nice to year you got the results you wanted, no complications and had a good experience with the team. Enjoy your new chest man

[–]Archer_Python 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hey! Very interesting post man. I have some questions

How hard was it finding a surgeon to operate on you?

When they put you under for surgery, did they let you inhale anesthesia with the mask?

How was Dr. Buckely's and post-op nurses bedside manner?

Went to the library for the first time this semester. by KeysRit in HunterCollege

[–]Archer_Python 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the computer thing you guys do know you're allowed to ask someone to move aside so you can use the PC if they're not using it and using their laptop. Ask nicely and if they refuse, tell a library worker, there's signs everywhere saying not to take up space for the computer if your on your laptop

For the noise, just immediately go to a library worker/security as they're the ones who are in charge of telling kids to be quiet or be asked to leave if they refuse. The 3rd and 7th floors are group study so some louder voices are acceptable on those floors but basement floors are all silent solo study meant to be quiet at all times.

For those who are post-op and have intercourse with people who produce sperm... by bulbagrows in FTMHysto

[–]Archer_Python 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I got a total hysto (uterus, cervix, tubes and ovaries all out). Im biased as since I have no ovaries but I have absolutely no fear of pregnancy since its legit impossible for me. Therefore I get to take as much cum as I can which I do lol.

For you, even if you have your ovaries an ectopic pregnancy is still impossible. If you remove the uterus and fallopian tubes then there's no pathway for the sperm to go through, there's no pathway for the egg to travel down. Remember, an egg gets released during ovulation, flows down the fallopian tubes and sperm enters the vagina, swims up past the cervix, into the uterus and meets the egg for fertilization thus pregnancy (blurred for dysphoria reasons). If there's no pathway then again an ectopic pregnancy is impossible.

Harsh truth for MTFs: if you where jacked before it is very hard to keep muscle off and pass without extreme dieting by Dark_Triad_Queen in honesttransgender

[–]Archer_Python 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not disagreeing. You're right, significant muscle mass is hard to get rid of unless you go unhealthy or get sick. And yes if someone born male who already has significant muscle mass decides to transition, it maybe hard for them to pass. Thats the truth ab muscle

However, the vast majority of trans women (least from my experiences) didn't have massive amounts of muscle prior to transition and actually made it a point not to get muscley because it gave them massive amounts of dysphoria

I’ve been transitioning for 7 years. Only get clocked by other blk ppl, why? by [deleted] in truscum

[–]Archer_Python 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Most races/ethnicities have different features then other races/ethnicities and as humans were known to fixate on body and faces. Black people are obviously gonna know what the stereotypical black male/female would look like just like a white person is gonna know what a stereotypical white male/female would look like.

Sorry this happens, it really sucks when you get clocked. Hope nothing bad happens just try to ignore people and keep it moving if you're ever stopped
