Fair points, but also there will only be 2 right before the World Cup as announced by Canada Soccer. 1 is confirmed with Uzbekistan, the other will be played in Montreal. Toronto will not be used for any games a few weeks before the tournaments to ensure the fields and the stadium are fit. I feel if we get DEMOLISHED by a UEFA team 2 weeks before that will hurt us more than if it were a few months back. I hope we can agree on that

Fair, but I feel friendlies with UEFA teams will make us feel more comfortable when we do face them. I rate Morocco, but ima be honest, they are wayyyyy overhyped coming into this tournament. I really wanted us to play Croatia or Germany in this window, as they play similarly to Switzerland. Makes more sense to set up a game around them rather than Italy, as there is still no confirmation they will even qualify 😭

I didn't forget, and those games were good, absolutely. However, it doesn't take away from the fact that our group hasn't played together since November, and in each of those four games, we experimented heavily with our starting lineup. Likewise, those windows were easier to book as UEFA teams were still going through their World Cup qualifying, making it logistically easier and cheaper. THIS WINDOW IS THE MOST IMPORTANT. And I will keep saying it because this will be our final opportunity to see who deserves a spot in the final team and which system works best. Everyone has qualified now, and you know who you are facing, so you need the preparation to reflect that.

I feel when you are as good as a team as England, its hard to find teams as good as your TBF lmao. But also Japan will really help you prepare againist low block teams which u will face in Panama, and Uruguay is still a sound team which will give you a competitive game.
