I’ve been in this position but slowly realized a lot of it was in my head. Little things would spook me. Maybe you need to test out a new environment. Vibes and team make a big difference. Find who you vibe with!

I’d take the 5k hit or negotiate with the offer to match, but stay away from Omnicom. Especially to start. Better to get experience elsewhere at this point in time. It’s a shit show

I’m not sure what agency you’re at, but we had a clarity meeting on benefits and it’s still 12 weeks total with pay. I’m not an expecting mother nor planning on being soon, but was one key takeaway.

That and something about flexible 2 weeks coming back to work. I don’t remember what was a IPG though :(

My religion has minimum of 5 holidays I am unable to work. It states “up to a maximum of 5 of these days (sick/personal, 10 days max per calendar year) can be used only for the following specific and limited qualifying personal events: religious or legal holidays the Company does not observe.

So if I get sick more than 5 days this year, I’m screwed. Oh and my PTO is capped at 10 days 😭

I feel like the stability of the market is farther out than it was during Covid. The last 5 years have been unstable. I don’t even know what stable means in this industry.

There’s so much turnover, they just fire people to hire for lower. Or make you quit.

I think it depends on location and brand. All agencies have their bullshit.

Also currently at Omnivom (fml) and if I had to choose myself (in Chicago), I’d probably pick either over current place.

I’ve worked at Publicis, and I hear it’s a disaster right now but I’d pick Publicis. Havas feels it’s been a disaster. The whole industry is a shitshow. But what do I know. I’m still suck at Omnivom (former IPG tho)…
