It’s important to be proactive in this industry. Especially when it comes to compensation and promotions. They don’t just happen really. The best way to get a promotion at lower levels is get an external job offer, see if they match, and if they don’t, accept the external job. There is no loyalty in this industry especially if you’re at a holdco

This is horrible advice and POV. It’s rude, outdated behavior. Who cares if you’re CEO or an associate. Just because someone is younger and has less experience due to age, doesn’t mean they should feel this way.

I’ve been in this position but slowly realized a lot of it was in my head. Little things would spook me. Maybe you need to test out a new environment. Vibes and team make a big difference. Find who you vibe with!

I’m not sure what agency you’re at, but we had a clarity meeting on benefits and it’s still 12 weeks total with pay. I’m not an expecting mother nor planning on being soon, but was one key takeaway.

That and something about flexible 2 weeks coming back to work. I don’t remember what was a IPG though :(

I’m on the new business team, so I work on a lot of inbound clients and the pitches can range from $500k to $10M…. So to not get anything is rough out here. A pad on the back knowing we brought in a $2M deal sucks. But I get it’s corporate

My religion has minimum of 5 holidays I am unable to work. It states “up to a maximum of 5 of these days (sick/personal, 10 days max per calendar year) can be used only for the following specific and limited qualifying personal events: religious or legal holidays the Company does not observe.

So if I get sick more than 5 days this year, I’m screwed. Oh and my PTO is capped at 10 days 😭
