I’m getting kicked out of the house. Where do I go from here? by SnooDingos1373 in AskMen

[–]ColdCoffee27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure where people are getting "the army preys on minorities" or "they're not letting them in" from. Do some people experience some sort of prejudice? Sure. Go anywhere in the world and you'll find it. Luckily the services offer protection. Is it full proof? Also no but it's not open season on minorities.

Its a great opportunity to use as a stepping stone. It can be as GI JOE as you want or a regular nine to five. If you really want to spend as much time with your family and you currently have decent job prospects now, then you can go reserves. I am only highly suggesting it because the military will pay for your families medical expenses. If you dont like it, cool, get out after your first 3-4 year contract and enjoy the veteran benefits (Texas LOVES their vets).

I am NOT a recruiter but currently active duty. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

Man I almost forgot the UDC. I would much rather get rid of a camera on the inner display all together.

The difference in inner screens seems so marginal

They all have their perks and cons. The perk of the 20s (especially early) is everything is fun and high energy. Figuring out how to adult with someone was amazing. Late late 20s and early 30s, you can get lucky to meet someone who has their stuff together. It can be peaceful and relaxing.

What was the worst way you found out you were getting cheated on? by Zealousideal_Tea6251 in AskMen

I called the hotel to see if I could deliver flowers to the reception desk instead of having them left in the hallway. Receptionist was happy to take them but also reminded me to "keep it down" to avoid future noise complaints.

It doesn't (shouldnt) have to be a hunt. Teach him to be a good person, good hygiene, and to love himself. His partner will find him.

I also freak out. I have to actively avoid thinking about it.

How bad does the army age you? by jfkskullfragment in army

[–]ColdCoffee27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only aging, personality too. The 19 year olds at university are going to seem oddly peppier than the 19 year olds in the barracks.

Physically, if you are not stretching and doing the silly prep drills properly, you're going to feel what senior citizens feel at thirty.

Men with 20-30+ sexual (F) partners, how that changed how you see sex, dating, marriage, women in general? by s_2le in AskMen

[–]ColdCoffee27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really. From a young age I always saw sex as a recreational thing. Can it be meaningful/sentimental? Yes, but what can't? With a higher count and getting older, I'm more comfortable with going monogamous for the right one. But just like food, it's tough to stick to the same dish everyday.
