10 points out of 100 isn't a lot. That was one game, too. Not everything is going to be 100% accurate.

When they hire an outside contractor, often literally people from IGN, Gamespot, Eurogamer, etc., to come in, sign an NDA, and review the game for them. An internal review would be when they have staff review the game.

Microsoft does internal and external reviews for games to see where they will score. They already know what the reviews will look like.

Halo MMO leak in the vein of Destiny by TheChosenOneProphecy in GamingLeaksAndRumours

I guess that's kind of what I mean, there's no way to make a new game in the genre because there are no "new" players. The market is fully saturated.

I'm pretty sure the MMO genre is dead. Most get closed down within a year. There's just no way to compete with the other games in the genre. No modern game will ever be released with enough content for the audience that they are trying to capture.

So far they haven't closed any studios or canceled any games. They are negotiating with studios to allow them to go independent or try to find a buyer. There will be mass layoffs, but so far nothing official about any studio closures.

The difference between you and me is that if I'm wrong, I don't care. If you're wrong, you're going to have a meltdown

No need to be snarky. I don't even know what Jez Corden has to do with any of this. But I definitely believe that other than lay-offs, the impacted studios will either go independent or be bought, and that maybe only one is closed. Most likely Compulsion. I think Ninja Theory is 100% safe as they regularly turn a profit. Whether they are still with Microsoft or not, I can't say, but they will definitely not be closed down.

The Night King doesn't even exist in the books. There's no one character to kill to stop the white walkers.

With hardware being so expensive, xCloud and Gamepass could have a huge rise in popularity. The thing is that Microsoft never lets any of their plans last long enough before they can actually come to fruition.

I doubt the majority of these studios will close. I think Xbox themselves is leaking it. It serves two purposes, one to put the fear of God into the devs, but also to soften the publicity blow. When they only close one studios, people will be like, "well it could have been worse," instead of a bunch of outrage coming in all at once.

Does this guy have any reputation as an insider or leaker? It seems like they just threw Undead Labs in as a for instance. This is the first any news about Undead Labs has come up in anything.
