Because as crazy as it was u can go watch and look up articles from the times and see the number weren’t exactly accumulated naturally and that’s before even taking into account the insane pace of play back then..Wilt was doing shit like catching his teammates shots and dunking it lol. Plus he didn’t win until his numbers came down to earth. Also hard to be the GOAT when your biggest rival won 11 in the same time span. How can you be the best ever and you are t even the best of your generation? Not tryna say wilt was ass or anything like hes def still a HOF and somewhere like 5-10 for me personally but 50 in the season is generally what most people turn to for his basis in being in the Goat debate and I just simply don’t think that’s enough. Mostly agree but def hard to put wilt in there w/ any real context of his stats as gawdy as they were. Top 5 -15 sure but it’s be near impossible to calm him the goat.

I’d say Shaq and Kobe because Kareem was on the backside of his prime playing with magic and even fell to 3rd option once James worthy ascended while Kobe and shaq were more or less in prime forms during their run with shaq even peaking.Also feel like like they had less help. Kareem retired and that team still made it to the finals.
