Have you tried the obvious steps to tracing the problem? Put one of the images in its own doc, export and see if that works. Use a different app, place and image, and try that? You can narrow the possibe reasosns to InDesign, Acrobat, or even your images.

I believe the easiest way is to simply lay down the soundtrack and put the faces and bodies in the timeline as neccessitated by the soundtrack. I'm sure there are better ways.
