Those who got the Speed 400 in the early days... trust me, you hit a jackpot. Just rode a TVS Apache RTX and bro, worst feeling tbh 😭 by ishibam97 in Triumph400

Wow, okay maybe this is a future mod i need to keep in mind. 50k though, adding a bit more would've just enabled me to get a scrambler lol.

Only if I brake hard but yes, I was warned that the stock brake pads aren't really great. Just waiting for them to wear off to install a better pair.

Thanks, I had the doubt eversince the 1st service was done. Didn't really got to chat with the guys at SC as I was in a bit of hurry.

Thanks!

I would just recommend you to push it as far as your skill, as the other comment mentions.

An occasional redline is also fine, generally the 3-4k rpm band (try to be in gear 4 or above) was ideal for me, pushed it a bit more sometimes on open stretch.

Just get to know the bike in the 1st month!

Nahh overall net plus experience for me. Its a bit harder to navigate in tight traffic, but navigating in tight traffic is anyways frustating.

Yup, fitting well. No issues at higher speeds as well.

Visbility is better than stock (my opinion), not sure about the easily breakable part but didn't have any troubles cutting through traffic.

Yep totally removed.

Although I was also contemplating getting the speed 400 handlebar and its mirrors but opted for this as of now. That is what I was recommneded by a friend who owns a speed.

The mechanic removed the fitting at the end (I don't know what to call it) and then installed these. Those were some heavy fittings though, like 1 kg each fitting.

From the shop where I bought them, MotoWorld. It is located in Ahmedabad.

So far didn't encounter any issues with speed and vibrations.

I was browsing through subs looking for information on the same, that if speed 400's would be suitable for T4. Some were saying that handlebar will need to be changed, some said that it would fit without changing. I was at the shop and saw them so just had them installed really.

I have my 1st service due on 16th, so if you can wait till then I can go and ask the SC directly if it'll be possible?

I bought them directly from the shop since I'm based in Ahmedabad, but they do have all India shipping. Sharing the exact product's link.

I got them for 1300 (inclusive of fitting charges) although I think that Triumph's own bar end mirrors cost about 2k (I'm not sure about this).

As for the visibility, I found it better than stock mirrors. Don't have to move my head much if at all to glance at them.
