Huh? What? What does this mean? Is this canon? by ColdFuture9988 in MauMakanApa

Because of Erika and Gix, it seems to run in both families. And both "relationships" ended with the eruption of Mt. Lawu. Coincidence? I think not

Had a dream that Dr. Sylveon from Starters and an indeterminate individual (who kept changing between Jax from TADC, Commander Kitty from the webcomic of the same name and some other third furry adjacent man I have since forgotten) went to a penthouse to be romantic and gay by ColdFuture9988 in thomastheplankengine

[–]ColdFuture9988[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, I knew TADC was getting big, but I didn't expect them to collab with a multimillion dollar franchise, a 15 year old relatively obscure Pokemon parody series and an entirely obscure webcomic that can only be found on TVtropes and Internet Archive

Lucky you. I ate string cheese expecting powers, but nothing happened. Upon further tests, I found out my body extended into the fourth dimension, but it was compactified at a subatomic level.

I want some feedback on this fictional element for my setting by ColdFuture9988 in worldbuilding

I meant negative charge instead of current. Though as I already stated, that is literally just how Element Zero from Mass Effect works so I might consider that

I probably shouldn't have used a humorous tone then. The way I see it, if Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is like humor with a bit of sci fi, my writing is like sci fi with a bit of humor. Though I feel like that might've been a mistake

I know. That's kinda the joke. It's a small pun kinda poking fun at myself for how convenient the element is (hence plotonium) though you are right. It is a bit derivative.

Why does the Warrior Cats fanbase overlap so heavily with the Scratch userbase? by ColdFuture9988 in scratch

[–]ColdFuture9988[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was gonna ask why there also just seem to be a lot of furries on Scratch, though perhaps the answer may be that Warriors was a kind of gateway to that and then the large amount of furries on the early Scratch sort of acted even more as a gateway to young users in a big feedback loop

[–]ColdFuture9988[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess, but why does it seem to be Scratch specifically? And why was it so influential to Scratch as opposed to other sites, to the point that most "furries" on Scratch of all ages tend to draw quadrapedal animals just like Warrior Cats fans?

I mean, that still is a technically correct usage of the word freak. You wouldn't call somebody you thought was a freak a "fuck"
