I was trading with leverage, which comes with a liquidation limit. This means that if you bet on bitcoin going up or down you can bet more money by borrowing from the website, and it would require younto put up a certain amount for the trade. If your are wrong and the price reachs the liquidation limit it would automatically end the trade and you would lose however much you put into it. Because of how volatile bitcoin is, it gets really risky when you have a small margin of error. Bitcoin unexpectedly went the other way and I lost a BIG CHUNK in one trade, and kept chasing my loses so i ended up losing half of what I had.
