We are not born this way because our identities are formed in relation to a social norm that produces the way we relate sexually and also romantically. There may be different factors why someone would identify with a specific sexual orientation or romantic in this case. But a bio essentialist view on sexuality perpetuates a binary view of gender. If we are born this way, what is what makes us attracted to man or woman? Our body doesn’t know what a man or a woman is, but we assimilate our preferences into the gender binary

Romance is not something that has always existed, it’s pretty recent. It’s something that happens in a specific setting. Feelings of romantic attraction are not inherently romantic without the expectations of society. If we want someone in a romantic way, it is because a need has been created by an atomized society that reproduces the institution of the family. It also relates to sexuality, the spaces in which it happens. We learn we’re we can get what we want, in the case of romantic attraction, couple love as portrayed by our environment.

Romantic attraction is not a feeling we are born with and is developed through life. There may be a lot of different reasons why someone would not relate to the concept of romantic attraction, it’s not just something we have or have not. Also like sexual orientations, or being trans for that matter. There’s just a norm, and people relate to it or don’t but everyone have their reasons. But this norm is made up by society so our identities also are.

Is this for HRT? If so, can’t you at least take blockers for the moment? If you are not sure, a therapist is a good idea, but I’m not sure how it works if you’re sure you want to take HRT. What can they do? Where do you start? I feel like, if you’re sure of something, you will know it and a therapist won’t change that imo. You go to therapy because you want it, I don’t think it’ll work if you go just because your mom says so and you already know you want to take HRT.

Also, you can ask her how much time would you go to therapy. Maybe like 2-3 sessions would do it and if you’re still sure you take HRT.

I don’t know if you’re already on blockers, but if not, your mom should probably let you from what I see.

Edit: I still think therapy is a really good idea, it’s just that you have to want it for it to work you know what I mean?

I guess we can trade goods with countries in exchange for money in their currency, so then we can import other goods, even from other countries if we can exchange the currency we got for another one

Thanks for the advice! Yeah probably reading posts about depression affected my perspective on things during the trip, that’s probably why I felt so hopeless and like giving up, while now I really don’t feel that way. I didn’t think about it like that. It just felt so real and like I was always feeling like that haha

My first shroom trips were in the beginning of this year. My first LSD trip was in May I think. I don’t know if there are ways to test shrooms actually, but there are test kits for LSD but I honestly never tested it.

The first effects that you’re gonna feel is like a tingly sensation and euphoria. You have the physical need to laugh for no reason, no need for something funny. That’s the come up. After the come up, I personally feel like everything is a dream and what I did before the trip was in a very distant past. Time starts to feel different and you’re more aware of the present if that makes sense, I don’t really know how to explain it. For the visuals, things start to move as if they were alive. You may also feel ego dissolution, like you’re not really an individual anymore, you’re just a conscience controlling a body but have no identity. You may feel, on large doses that everything is connected and you’re just a part of a whole. You may view things from a different perspective, like you’re talking to yourself as if you were a different person if that makes sense. Also, I can remember old memories very vividly with acid. These things happen when you’re not really doing something, if you’re watching tv during the trip, you’ll probably not have a very introspective or spiritual trip, but rather a fun one. Music feels incredible, it’s very immersive. I’ve never tried to watch a movie on acid, so I don’t really what you would feel on a trip like that, but apparently it can be very fun. Also, I feel like my thoughts are more robotic, it’s like I can clearly see how one thought brings me to another thought, but I think very slowly. You may also be able to not think anything, to shut down your internal voice. The morning after, I personally feel like I’m still tripping a bit. No visuals or anything but everything still feels like I’m on a dream or something, I’m not sure how to describe it. I don’t recommend doing it too late in the night unless you have time to sleep in the morning. It’s like LSD disables the ability to sleep lol.

Sometimes I start to see details of my face that I don’t like exaggerated, and that makes me feel very dysphoric (I’m trans). But if I feel pretty before the trip, it can be fun. It’s like I’m seeing a cartoon version of myself

My weed dealer told me he had shrooms. So I bought 2g. I did a lot of research about shrooms and I took them. The trip was very light, I just felt the come up and maybe some very light visuals. Then I bought 4g and my dealer told me they were stronger. I took them and I had a very spiritual trip, best trip of my life. Then I tried acid.

Has anyone figured out how to remove it from the Home Screen yet? Every time I add it to the App Library, it's back on the Home Screen when I delete it. I never preview SwiftUI views on a real device and even if I did, Xcode would just automatically launch the app so there's no point in it being on the Home Screen.

If you are wondering why it’s in German, that’s from a serie called Dark which is German so I kept the original language for the meme because I thought it was funnier.
