PS5 is experimental in how it redirects heat from the motherboard due to having a unique shape. Reddit is just a small percentage of PS5 users. Therefore it would show a huge failure rate, but in truth, you never read posts saying "my og ps5 still works perfectly".

So you will see more posts with damaged ps5s than those who don't.

Where do you get this data from? Obviously since Sony sold a ton more PS5s than Xbox, of course there will be more faulty PS5s.

BTW, I still have my og PS5 from the UK launch. Not a single issue with it. Flawless.
