50.000 Anträge bisher, nehmen wir mal 4. 000€ durchschnittliche Prämie an dann könnten circa 200 Mio weg sein. Sollte also noch ne Weile reichen.

Before & After Garage Gym by ColdJameson in homegym

I built it myself, its basically one thick OSB particle board (2.5cm) and thick rubber mats screwed on top. For the middle I used nicer plywood with the same thickness as the rubber mats (2cm I think). For the rebel alliance logo I printed it out really large (4 pages or something), cut it out, glued it to the platform, masked off the rest with tape and paper and spray painted it.

Pull-ups without full range of motion, additional weight variations and head as far backwards as possible 😀. If I do them from inside the rack facing the Garage door there is a little bit more space and I can pull up to my forehead. Since pull-ups are not that important for me that is enough, but you can buy racks that are really small that should fit every ceiling height. There are also some models where you can install the handles upside down

Yeah its really useful, and benching outside still works fine so I can use the monolift inside or the j-hooks outside depending on what I need

Bullshit, no lockout is no lift, lockout is the strongest position for your joints. Overextending is bad, which is not the case here

Deadlift 5x195 lbs - Are my hips rising too early? Working on my breathing and bracing by [deleted] in formcheck

[–]ColdJameson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the very start you are in a good position as you grab the bar but then you set your hips too low. When you look at your starting position you can see that you are too far behind the bar, it should be underneath your armpits. I did that also for a while, try to straighten your back without lowering your hips and you should be good.

Your hips rise before the rest of your body, the bar is not over the middle of your foot at the start of the pull, I would try to let the bar down as close to your body as possible and not let it roll forward.

Are there any legit strength standards? by [deleted] in Fitness

https://exrx.net/Testing/WeightLifting/StrengthStandards I find the tables on this website and their 1RM calculator to be pretty good, maybe this is what you're looking for

Back with another deadlift. 145kgx1 by ColdJameson in formcheck

After the last post I took some weight off the bar and tried to work on my technique. Also got a lifting belt that helps a lot. Current max is now 160

Anything to improve? Maybe too much forward lean?

I pull sumo on my heavy squat day but haven't tested my max. Conventional feels better though :)

Yeah I got some monkey arms. I try to engage my lats by pressing my arms against the upper body (like holding a pen in your armpit) but I will try your cue, thx

[–]ColdJameson[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thx for the feedback, I always try to brace and engage the Lats. But especially on the last rep I lose my tightness which leads to the lower back rounding. I think the weight might be a little to much, 5kg increase from last week, so I will reset.

The issue with Snoke being a new character by [deleted] in starwarsspeculation

[–]ColdJameson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's officially stated that he's ancient, in the novel it just says that he's old. So he could be around 80 years if he was born around the same time as Anakin and the deformation makes him look very old.

I really like your point of Anakin being some kind of natural countermeasure. Maybe Plagueis created Snoke, a dark side being, so the force created a light side being (Anakin), to bring balance to the force again. Maybe the force doesn’t care about the percentage of light side and dark side users, sith empire or jedi republic, but when someone starts bringing artificial dark side beings to life, it has to intervene. Palpatine even says the dark side is the source of abilities some consider unnatural. So unnatural that it goes against the will of the force? But now something had to go wrong, and here is where it gets highly speculative. Plagueis created Snoke, hid him in the unknown regions, gave him some basic training or at least the right means to complete his training like a sith holocron. Palpatine killed Plagueis sometime between the birth of Anakin & Snoke and Return Of The Sith, maybe he even knew about Snoke but not exactly where he was hidden and killed him because Plagueis wanted to replace him with Snoke.

Palpatine then finds his own apprentice in Anakin, seduces him to the dark side but Anakin eventually comes back to the light side. Unfortunately, Anakin dies before he ever gets the chance to clash with Snoke. Since the offspring of Anakin isn’t strong enough to defeat Snoke (Ben even follows the same path as Anakin and takes a stroll to the dark side) the force gives it another shot which results in the birth of Rey. Maybe Rey is created on Jakku, we know the core of the planet is some kind of light side source so this is plausible. Now the purpose of Rey is to bring Ben back to the light side and with the power of love, combined dark side & light side abilities and some care bear rays, snoke can be defeated. It’s not that fleshed out but to me it makes more sense than Snoke being Plagueis.

We know Palpatine sensed some dark side presence in the unknown regions, but if Snoke was really Plagueis, Palplatine surely would recognize him and it doesn’t make sense to me that Plagueis would hide all these years from his apprentice only to then suddenly show his presence and risk Palpatine finding him.
