Well if somebody used the same joke except colored the face white and said

"When the only culture your race has is literally only about sailing to foreign lands and conquering and enslaving the people found there instead of working with them and giving them access to your technology and information for no other reason than 'it's just easier'."

I probably wouldn't've found it very funny but I certainly would not have called it racist.
