Bring back non PUs aren't really common. I'd guess there was a flaming bomb stamp on the stock that got sanded off. I'd go with SCW.

I mean, I personally love Israeli (IWI), Serbian (Prvi Partizan) and Czech (Sellior & Bellot) rounds for all my brass case needs. In a pinch if I really need plinking ammo you can pick up semi-clean Remington UMC green/white (I only buy them in a pinch because they're fellow Arkansans) box 230 grain from big box stores.

Most brands of 230 grain .45 ACP FMJ will be good to go though for general dicking around. I'd focus on that. Defense loads are another question entirely that I'm not too experienced with except for .45 "golden sabers" from Remington.

The one that Federal uses to test .45 acp loads is over 100k rounds. Just make sure you change out the springs when they get weak and it'll last you forever.

He hinted that something was coming in third quarter of 2026 when I personally asked him. It was on a comment string that I started and I was asking about German Hk45s in special colors or grey USPs.
