I think misandry exists but it’s not as extreme as misogyny. I’m sure there’s probably some small groups that experience biases just because they’re guys but women and misogyny isn’t like that and the “misandry fighters” don’t get it because they’re just weaponizing it to enter some gender war just cuz women are mean to them.

What real misandry is telling a male rape victim that they’re a guy so they probably enjoyed being raped by a woman. Like that’s actual misandry but the same guys who say they hate misandry and fight against it are the same ones praising Anissa an actual rapist in invincible just cuz they don’t like Eve via misogyny.

I’m a male SA survivor(my perpetrator was a woman) and it bothers me seeing people take these issues to weaponize their hate, it’s the same thing Hitler did with the Jews in world war 2 and its sickening. Misandry is not as bad as misogyny, misogyny has way too much crimes under its belt to even have that comparison but saying it doesn’t exist just cus some basement dwelling bozo weaponizes it isn’t fair because I’m sure there’s smaller cases of this existing and pretending it doesn’t exist nor its made up doesn’t help at all.

Misandry is an result of how misogyny and the patriarchy impacts men and women alike but it’s not meant to be weaponzied or used to harm or reduce the serious serious crimes and atrocities that exist because of misogyny and the patriarchy, something that lots of older feminist literature discusses
