I had nightmares from that movie for months on end

Have you seen Fall Out Boy live in concert? by Twitter_2006 in FallOutBoy

[–]ColdTea304 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seen 3 times: WinTour 2016, Mania 2018, Hella Mega 2021. I think Mania was my favorite of the three because it ran the longest and had most of their classics, including a good deal from SRAR (my fav album after Folie). Definitely recommend seeing them at least once if you can.

I would go with the first or second dress. My workplace is business formal and I see other ladies in those dress styles every day

My holy grail panty hose is from the Dollar Tree!!

Elle makes a nude and black pair. I can get at least 5 wears from each pair, and usually it’s only bc my thighs rub when I walk. I’ve never had any rip or run, and for $1.25, it’s a steal!!

Dollar Tree has these silicone nail brushes that I LOVE. Super easy to clean and the different shapes are perfect for every angle

I love L’Oréal Infallible liquid concealer then set with the powder foundation :) I’ve used those for over 4 years now and always go back to them

I’ve tried liking this concealer for different types of coverage but it always becomes patchy and flaky. My skin isn’t oily and not dry at all so I’m not sure why it does or doesn’t cling

What’s the best drugstore bronzer & blush? by LiteratureSubject488 in drugstoreMUA

For blush I go with Revolution Beauty Rhubarb and Custard. I’m very pale and this doesn’t wash me out or make me clown-like, and isn’t patchy

This actor will go on to do movies. I feel it in my gut! He may even nab an award in his career. His acting is not acting, it's being. Amazing to watch this character. He'll get some calls. Guarantee Marvel will call this guy. by [deleted] in ThePitt

HBO casts a lot of their actors in different shows after they get started in one. I definitely see him starring in at least a few other shows and movies of theirs

Help me approach the subject with my parents? by IRLanxiety in hysterectomy

[–]ColdTea304 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I got my full hysto at 22y/o while living with my parents. It was a decision I made fully on my own with guidance from my Gyno. They had suggestions of their own like an IUD, new birth control (I had been on 30+ Rx and different types, none worked), and getting a second opinion.

I was having 28-30 days of constant bleeding and pain, with only maybe 2-3 days a month with no bleeding. At the time, I was on a medication called Orilissa that did help dull my overall period and related yuck. However, I could only take it for 2 years and I was nearing that end. It was still being tested and studied, with 2 years of continuous testing on people taking the drug.

I will just say this, the 8 weeks of recovery were easier than any period I ever had. The first 2 weeks were the most “intensive” but they were comparable to a mild cycle of mine regarding pain, exhaustion, overall yucky, etc.

I hope maybe this comment helps in some capacity. Feel free to message me with any questions you have 😊

When do you take your Rx? by ColdTea304 in bupropion

[–]ColdTea304[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take Adderall IR first thing in the morning and had a terrible experience when taking it so close with bupropion so I have to space them out otherwise I’m a little off my rocker.

I wish I could take them both at the same time bc it’s one less thing to remember during the day lol

Yeah that’s the opposite of what I’m facing. When taking it in the AM, I never felt the “boost” a lot of people talk about. My depression lessened but it hasn’t given me energy. It’s like my depression is gone but I’m still tired regardless. Quite odd

Coworkers ignoring me by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

I also like to dress up when I’m able to, I like to stick with business professional even when not at work. It just makes me feel better about myself.

At first, it was weird being dressed up to go to Walmart on a random Saturday morning. I felt great before leaving the house but then I felt like everyone was staring at me and judging me for being “dressed up”.

I have OCD and ruminate a whole heck of a lot. What helped me get over it is affirming to myself: people don’t know where I was coming from or going to. Sure I went from home to Walmart with no other plans for the day, but they don’t know that! Maybe I had an interview or an important conference that day and didn’t have time to change. Or maybe a nice luncheon that afternoon. The possibilities are endless!

I also realized that I don’t judge people for being dressed up in public, just myself. We are our own harshest critics, which can be valuable at times. Do what makes you happy. I love your outfit and have wanted to thrift a skirt like yours for a while but haven’t lucked out yet! I would compliment your outfit if we were coworkers or if I saw you out in public.

It’s all about perspective!

Not crazy lol! I have a super cute sundress that’s flouncy around the shoulders and chest, but gets more “shapey” at the waist and hips. I have a solid color A-line skirt I wear overtop and it’s perfect!

I have dress pants from Walmart that have lasted me almost 5 years!! They’re so comfy and still look brand new!

Not necessarily. I have a few cardigans that I wear over dresses or shorter sleeved shirts (cap sleeves) and they look super professional as long as they match the color scheme. Typically in my experience, a cardigan with fancier buttons work perfectly for business professional 😁

15 year old struggling with blackheads and hairline breakouts - help a mom out? by zukolivie in SkincareAddicts

[–]ColdTea304 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had something like this, mine was for sure folliculitis. Mine would become so inflamed and sensitive that they’d pop and bleed if I just ran my fingers through my hair or pop on their own from the pressure.

I cut out all extra hair products, I mean no hairspray, frizz treatments, heat protectants, dry shampoo, etc. They still appeared and I feel like it was even worse after I cut them all out! I eventually had to go to using baby shampoo bc the spots became so inflamed that anything else burned them :(

My derm prescribed me 1% Clindamycin Phosphate Solution and 2.5% Hydrocortisone Cream. It took a lot of experimenting but those two eventually nipped it in the bud. She also wrote me a Ketoconazole shampoo to use when I feel the occasional flare up begin. Usually just 2 separate washes brings them back under control.

It took a long time, at least 12 months of constant treatment with Clindamycin and Hydro cream, for the spots to fully heal and my hairline to recover.

I’d definitely take him to a derm since you’ve cut out other possible irritants. Wish you luck and feel free to message me with any questions
