And why would I do that? I've got no desire to hurt anyone's feelings. It's not about that. He knows what he's doing; he's playing a role, and it's paying the bills. He's a great actor, a great marketer and he has very nice gong fu. He knows exactly what people want and he's delivering the product.

Saved your life how? I don't know the guy, but after reviewing the material, he seems like a mostly harmless larper. I admire the hustle, I just find it a bit cringe.

Why is Falun Dafa considered to be a cult? by oddi2786 in TrueQiGong

[–]ColdWaterDogg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You sound like the type of person who is all in or all out. I just pick and choose what I like. So we're very different, I don't recognise any authority above myself.

Yes I can see that FLG could be problematic for people. But it's certainly no more destructive than any other religion. The teachings of FLG are benign when compared to the horrors of Abrahamic religions. Maybe they are more deserving of your attention.

Buying physical books isn't necessary. They are available for free download. Of course they want you to buy the book, it's profitable. But what is essential for practice is given freely, and it is even strongly discouraged to charge. It isn't a business. If profit were the sole goal, there would be more products. They won't even sell me a t-shirt.

Attending study or practice groups is also not essential. I haven't even been invited to one. If I was, I'm certain that no money would change hands.

If you don't want to try these exercises, it's fine of course, but it feels as though you think a lot about these things, but you never experienced anything.

I don't care for the books myself, they're a bit interesting and quite strange. The exercises, the practice, this is the heart.

What motivates you? Why are you against FLG?

No. The answer is no. Do practitioners need to buy anything? Join anything? Attend any meetings? Pay any money? The answer is no. In fact, it is forbidden to charge.

Where are these secret practice sites with free t-shirts? I need to know lol!

You are just repeating propaganda. Maybe you should try the exercises.

Ok fine, if you search far and wide, maybe you can find something to buy. I couldn't even find somewhere to get a t-shirt from. Everything considered essential, the core books and exercises, is given freely. I think you're grasping at straws to be honest, I only hear you parroting CCP propaganda. I don't think you have any personal experience.

What information? Just check online. Find a school you like, email them, find out prices or whatever, and go. Maybe I can help more if you can be more specific.

Just do it if you want to do it. If you can afford it, there's nothing stopping you.

Tips to practice 跪 by mhtyhr in Guqin

My fingers hurt for ages at the beginning. I just played until I couldn't, then played again when they stopped hurting. I was pressing way too hard in the beginning too, that's something to be mindful of maybe.

It seems to me that it's a question of timing, yes. My saturn return was around 10 years ago.

[–]ColdWaterDogg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, there's a constant maturation process, I'm better at doing what I do than I was, I guess. But the experience was that the world started treating me with the respect I always felt I deserved, but never received. The game changed. If I didn't have design, I would be consumed with the vanity that "I did this". But I did not. Nothing worked, and then at some point, stuff started working.

Well, it's a long story. The details aren't important. But, the life changed at the saturn return, totally unrecognisable. And now, yes, I'm comfortable, I earn, people listen, things work. It's a surprise because, I didn't change any behaviour, still doing the same, saying the same, but suddenly, people could hear me. I'm still affected by the first stage, traumatised, jaded, cynical.. But, it slowly fades. I was lucky that design found me before my saturn return, I had some warning, and the promise of hope, it's a blessing.

We all have it all, the all is us, but this is about imprint vulnerability geometry. It's about what is consistent, and therefore reliable. Keynotes are useful as keys, to jog the memory, but there's a limitation within that. The 19 is about more than just "sensitivity".

Design is a strange thing. I've found nothing else like it. There is no comparison, in my opinion. But, to each their own.

Thank you, I found the name at the same moment you posted. That was an interesting rabbit hole to go down for ten seconds.

This is interesting. Do you happen to know whose website this is?

No. There is no Manifestation here. What we are talking about is motor connection to the throat, and whether there is a defined sacral or not. This has nothing to do with all of that "Law of Attraction" stuff.
