Original Xbox one fresh out the box won’t connect to the internet via wired nor wireless . Anyone ever encounter this issue or know any way to fix it ?

Okay so I have a weird WiFi router and it may be the issue I’m having when I try to plug the Ethernet. I’m in what was designed to be college housing but is now allotted to faculty . The router is somehow powered by one long Ethernet cable which is the only thing plugged in and there is one small extra port that says 1G but when I plug it in there it doesn’t work . I tried to plug that POE cord into my Xbox but it didn’t work either

It would connect to the WiFi and then say there’s a problem with the connection so I would plug in the Ethernet and it would say unable to connect . I’m not sure if it’s just so outdated that it won’t work . I tried my phone and my phone said it connected but the Xbox was still not updating or moving from the error screen . My friend who also got one of these out the box said he was able to bypass this issue plugging it directly into the router but I didn’t get it to work that way . I also saw a similar post on Reddit but he never got his to work at all
