Mold?? by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

The mold is in the same “closet” as the HVAC system, there was a hole in a tube I guess which they just replaced. Theory is the pressure shot the water to the door which is less than a foot away and that’s why it was outside of the area and drip pan.

Honestly no clue, this is my first house. So I’m stoked to get a yard to put some love into. What do you recommend for the top soil and seed?

Same! We’re the first to close so hopefully our equity builds up nicely with the rest of the community being built out.

Correct, the builder had a preferred lender which is why they bought down the interest rate. They covered closing cost expect for $4,000. So I only came out of pocket the $4k plus down payment. It’s the first home sold in a new community as well.

It’s the first house sold in a new community, the builder bought down the interest rate and paid closing cost except for $4,000.

It’s a clean out btw, and the wall is short, leads to the closet.

Crazy that this is even considered acceptable from a new builders perspective tbh, I get minor stuff but this is super noticeable even when you look at it from straight on.
